This small discount grocery store has some interesting items. The store has a discount warehouse feel. You never know what you will find here. They have a custom sub shop with freshly sliced meats and other subs. The subs are very inexpensive. You fill out a small form, and they will prepare it while you shop. Of note are many dried fruits and nuts, various special honeys, special cheeses, a variety of fresh sliced meats and cheeses from local farmers, fresh produce and various prepackaged chips, candies, sodas and canned goods and much more. We've been going there for over 20 years, we also visited their old store also on Route 322. Their deli meat prices are MUCH MUCH lower than large grocery chains. They opened a larger traditional style grocery store. Word of mouth in the area makes for a very busy deli counter; therefore their products are fresh from rotating stock frequently; their subs are especially reasonably priced as well. I really enjoy their bulk foods aisle, with grains, spices, baking products, snacks and candies etc at fantastic prices. Our kids when they were young went nuts in that aisle! Products are re-packed into their own tightly closed plastic containers. I didn't really shop there for produce but the area looks clean and produce looks fresh. They also have great prices on pre-packaged breads, rolls. I wished I lived closer; we used to stop there on the way home to the turnpike, but don't visit my hometown anymore. read more

I am retired and I take care of my 98 yr old Mom -- she gets food stamps! We stopped at Country Veiw on #322 on Horseshoe Pike. We found a few reasonable things / Oh and please watch the expiration dates !!! So we got to the register and they refused to use My Moms Food card ! I said wow the way things are today especially for old people you would think that it would be Un-American. And I told them so. I also they do not sell American Flags And neither does Goods Store! I dont care how cheap they are --- but not so much anymore-- I can't possible buy from a store that doesnt stand for our Flag or sell it and doesnt take food stamps for the poor!!!! And believe me it will get worse if the Government gets their wat and takes away our SS that retired people live on ; Remember these are the same people who will not fight for the Country they live in --- Oh Boy the New American Way! read more

This is one of my fave grocery shops in the area, and I only wish I was closer! They are located in the middle of the country, fields all around. You never know what treasures you'll find here, some things I've never seen anywhere else. Like canned abalone? I have never seen it elsewhere. Fantastic place. Be sure to check expiration dates. Brands you won't find anywhere else at ridiculously low prices. Great baked goods, produce, incredible prices in their deli on meats/cheese, plants...I found some dried chick peas and energy drinks for $1.00. PRO TIP: there are three days of the week they get baked goods delivered but can't recall them off the top of my head. The back of the store seemed to have a deli counter where they made fresh sandwiches as well as sold deli meat. We found some Keto and Organic friendly options. One being a very tasty Italian soda. Last visit for me! No sign on the entrance to advise covid mask. No hand wipes anywhere in the store, I needed to request one at checkout. Employees had little or no concern for safety, masks if worn, in almost all cases noses uncovered. No social distancing advisories anywhere in the store. I'm not returning any time soon. read more

Wondering WHY I've never been here before?! Instead of making something at home like we've been doing almost every night in quarantine, we decided to go to Country View Grocery to order hoagies for dinner. My boyfriend raved about how good they are so I felt like it was time to check out this place. Glad we did. The hoagies were excellent and so cheap! I ordered a 9in roast beef hoagie on a wheat roll, loaded with lettuce, tomato, mayo, and pickles, and it came to $3.89! The hoagie was so fresh and the girls that work the deli counter were incredibly kind. Our order was made in minutes, but we also went an hour before closing. I would recommend Country View Grocery to anyone in the area. Not only was our hoagie good, but the produce, baked good, and other food at the store looked beyond fresh and delicious, and the prices are totally affordable. Once we can spend more time out in the community, I'm definitely plan to do a big grocery haul here! read more

I bought some items at this store containing hand soaps and one of the hand soaps leaked all over the other items in my grocery bag. I immediately called the store and explained that the opened hand soap ruined my other purchases and wanted to come back to exchange all 4 items and the woman told me I could exchange. I just left this store and will suggest to others.. not to go back .. the manager told me that he couldn't exchange these items ( even with my receipt ) since they already left the store..and the hand soap wasn't opened... I asked him well the bag was literally in my car until I went to retrieve it and saw the spill in the bag... he insisted that he coilnt take them back.. I asked him why would I want to open the soap and spill it and make an extra trip to exchange if I did this on purpose?? For this manager to be so callous and non customer service friendly, I will not shop here again!! read more

My go-to store for bargains on lunch meat, cheese and subs. Ask for extra meat or double meat on your sub! It's only about 80 cents more and the whole sub will be between $2.50 and 4.50! Also, you can get cheese or meat at sharp shopper for maybe the same price, but not cut fresh and sliced to order. Add to this the super friendly mennonite families working there....I love this place and make a trip about twice a month! They recently added more organic items that I figure someone will like! read more

This is the BEST local grocery store in the area! My family and I rarely shop any other place. Prices are great and there are bargains to be found during each visit. Love this place. Since I've started shopping her I've saved anywhere from $30-50 a week on groceries. Their produce is probably the best in the area in terms of quality and price. You can find all sorts of great stuff. Plus their subs are an amazing value. I don't know what is going on but the prices are skyrocketing. I was there last week and the price of celery, 1 stalk was over $5. SERIOUSLY!!! $5 for celery!!! Today my husband stopped for apples. That price jumped from $11.49 for 1/2 bushel to over $16 for that same 1/2 bushel. Don't even get me started with the bacon. It WAS wonderful. Sliced nice and thick and reasonably priced. Now it is so thin you need 2 or 3 slices together just to keep it from frying away to nothing. And you guessed it the price is higher. My days at my local family inexpensive store are over.
