Our experiences with Couriers & Freight Australia (C&F) on our 3PL (third party logistics) services have been positively and negatively mixed yet ultimately very useful. The positive side is that they have several different options for freight and were able to meet all of our needs for warehousing, pick/pack and interstate deliveries all from one location, which simplified scaling our business considerably. We also found their online system to provide use with a way to compare carriers and manage shipments all using one system instead of having to utilize multiple vendors, as we would have had to do if we had used multiple vendors; therefore, this saved time and simplified our logistic efforts. There were numerous examples where we experienced expedited shipping times and received damaged goods, thus demonstrating their system works effectively when everything operates correctly . On the negative side, there have also been challenges regarding their communication practices and clarity of billing. We experienced several issues where our pickups have been delayed or communications provided to us have not been clearly understood, and as has been stated by other customers of C&F, we have also incurred problems with additional charges being applied for different dimensions and weights after delivery.
