I've seen a chiropractor regularly from an early age due to low back issues, so I know all types, and this man was one of the best! He was compassionate, responsive, knowledgeable, and focused on making me well versus locking me in to a treatment plan with scheduled multiple visits. They hold Saturday hours, the office is conveniently located near Costco in Farragut, with ample parking and pleasant office staff. I would have emptied my savings account to receive some back relief, but they were even in the Blue Cross Network and covered by my plan! I experienced a horrific upper back spasm issue while traveling home on a Friday evening which was so bad that I had to ask the flight attendant to call ahead for a wheel chair because I seriously doubted I could walk through the airport. I iced, I heated, I medicated and I waited for sunlight so I could start calling around to find someone open on a Saturday to see me. Thankfully, I came across a post about Dr. Ingley's Saturday office hours, and called. The office wasn't open yet, so I left a message about my situation, and said I would be on my way. If you've ever suffered from intense back pain, you know it is difficult to even stand, so everything took longer, including my 40+ minute ride of bumps and turns which were serious torture, but I made it with 10 minutes to spare before the office would close. The office recording noted Dr. Ingleby's cell phone, and I had called while on my way to alert him that I was coming...and to please wait. He did wait! He ushered me in after asking the last patient if they minded waiting while he accessed me. We talked, and tried a few adjustment moves that didn't work due to the tight muscles. Even though his office was officially closed, he hooked me up to the electric stimulator and put a heating pad over my back for 15 minutes and tried again with no luck. I had shared that I was leaving on an important business trip the following Tuesday, and asked if I could come back on Monday. He was generous enough to allow me to come the following day, Sunday when he was technically closed to see me. Each adjustment provided a smidge of relief, along with hope and comfort that I was on the mend. I saw Dr. Ingleby those 3 consecutive days, then went on my whirlwind trip - and made it! I saw him just after my return for a tittle tune-up. He did not pressure me to book again, or even encourage it. He basically said to come back when I needed him...I surely will!
