When I returned for collection, I waited for an hour whilst 3 members of staff searched the entire shop for my garments. I was told to return two days later as they could not be found in the stop. When I challenged the member of staff (after visiting the store TWICE) she seemed to think it was acceptable that: 1. I could wait until two days later to then only find out what may have happened to my items and that I should return mid day for their convenience. 2. Spending 1.5 hours in total whilst staff searched for my garments was acceptable. 3. That HURLING Bitchy, offensive, inappropriate, unprofessional and disgusting language at me as I walk out the shop (repeatedly) was appropriate. This was in front of a number of other customers who were also complaining during my 1.5 plus hour visit. I do not recommend, I would never use again and if a 0 star was possible, this would be the rating. AVOID and go down the road!

I have used many dry cleaning and laundry services around the world, and level of service typically ranges from poor to acceptable. However, when I first used Elias in Hampstead, I was pleasantly surprised to discover that excellent laundry services really do exist! My shirts were lovingly cleaned with special attention paid to my collars and cuffs, which often get battered during a long day in the office, but after their first visit to Elias, they all looked as good as new! Remarkably, Elias had managed to remove stains and marks and had persisted for years as 'untreatable' by other services, putting new life back into my clothes. They also added small, unobtrusive barcodes to my shirts so that they could be processed more quickly on return visits, saving me a lot of time when I drop them off. I have now had shirts cleaned and ironed there over 100 times (I have a lot of shirts!) and I can say without hesitation that this is the best cleaning service I have ever experienced anywhere in the world - even compared to those my clothes have had in five-star and six-star hotels. The owner, Roxy, is a star, who clearly cares about her customers and takes her business very seriously; she and her staff are consummate professionals. The service is not cheap (roughly twice as expensive as the American Dry Cleaning Company), but you will not be disappointed if you can afford to spend as much cleaning your designer shirts each year as you did buying them, you'll never use another service.
