The seniors here have created a somewhat lively community. The issues I have relate to building maintenance and management. The person who I know that lived here had a bad mold problem in her unit that caused her to break out with skin rashes. in fact you can almost feel mold in the place it smells sort of wet and damp. Also, smoking is allowed in units and the cigarette smoke in the halls is terrible. Also, plumbing and faucets, etc. were old and somewhat 'broken'. Worse of all, management plays games when a person wants to move out. Case in point, my relative provided a intent to vacate the property well in advance of the date of departure and they said they never got the form and went so far as to start collection efforts for months of unpaid rent - even though there is no back rent due. BE CAREFUL. They will reel you in but you can never leave without some form of trickery on their end -- kind of like Hotel California.
