Did not dust the hanging lights, ceiling fans, top of the fridge, or blinds. Did not wipe the fronts of cabinets. Missed one room altogether, my tv room. She was done in under an hour. I was told after the fact that most of these things are an upcharge. And due to liability issues they don't dust anything hanging on the wall (mirrors, artwork and pictures). I have had cleaning ladies for over 25 years and they did all of these tasks expertly and every time. They usually worked for 2 1/2 hours and I have never, ever paid more than 100 dollars. I don't understand how these gals expect to make more money than someone with a Masters degree or in a union job.

My sofa pillows still had cat hair on them along with sectional sofa. It took me over two hours of my own time to get my house cleaned. When I spoke to the rep before booking I explained the dusting and vacuuming was top priority quality outcome. I was disappointed it fell on deaf ears. Several areas weren't wiped down and her response was pretty much a "oh I'm sorry yeah they didn't have proper vacuum and sorry your pillows weren't adequate. Please send $315 to address". Won't use them again. Will continue to seek a company which values customer feedback and attempts to correct failures. I do not recommend.

William (Bill) Swawell of Servicemaster was one of the few people who returned my calls and did me the service of coming out to inspect the space despite the miasma. He and his team did a great job processing large quantities of garbage and biohazard waste but were sensitive and careful enough to pick out all of the treasures (ie old family photos, important documents, even loose change) buried amongst it. He has stayed involved with clean up projects and helping me to manage a lot of work that still needs to happen at the house; it is essential to have someone I can trust doing this work since I am out of state and cannot directly supervise. Bill has earned my trust for the quality of his work and equally important his honesty; he refunded the unspent portion of our initial deposit down to the penny. I hope you don't need ServiceMaster...it's a disaster mitigation service and no one wants a disaster. But when (not if) disaster hits you will want a team like Bill and ServiceMaster DSI involved in putting your life, home, and/or business back in order.
