I stayed here for a night while in town for some business meetings. This may have been the best Courtyard ever! Outside of a couple of hairs I saw in the bathroom it was very clean. My room was well appointed and it had outlets galore! I never had to look far to plug in my phone or steamer or any other gadget - a rarity in hotels. It was quiet overall but there is construction nearby which could disturb day sleepers. Worried about the most germ filled item in rooms..the remote? No worries, they even provided a disinfectant wipe for it! The staff were upbeat and friendly from the front desk to the Bistro, it was very impressive. The only other issue was the carpet near window was wet so there is leaking somewhere. Other than that they are great and so so close to five stars in my eyes! read more

I stayed here during a work trip to Carrollton and had a pleasant experience. The parking lot is spacious, with nearby overflow parking available if needed. The hotel is conveniently located just a short walk from the town square, with plenty of restaurants and shops nearby. For those who prefer to stay in, the Bistro downstairs offers a decent selection of food. While not gourmet, the meals are tasty, filling, and perfect for enjoying in your room or in the bar/bistro area with a bit of camaraderie. My room was quiet overall, aside from some chatter from a group enjoying the firepit area directly below my room. It wasn't loud enough to disturb my rest, and I didn't mind it. I stayed in a King room with a sofa, which was perfect for two people. The room was clean and included standard amenities like a fridge, microwave, desk, TV, ironing board, and more. The bathroom featured a spacious walk-in shower stocked with complimentary shampoo, conditioner, and body wash. The staff were all incredibly friendly and welcoming, making the stay even better! read more

Stayed here from Sept 3-5. Much better experience this time! Got room 504 it was perfectly quiet. Now that kids are back in school it's mostly us business travelers. I don't think my floor had many people on it. I always get end of the hall rooms for the most quiet. Same lovely front desk person was working as when I stayed here in May. Breakfast is always delish with eggs your way breakfast. Room had a fridge and microwave too. My bed was so comfy I slept 10 hours the first night. lol. My corporate office is a few minutes away, so this makes for a perfect location. No issues this time around. read more

Stayed for a couple of nights to attend a wedding close by.. this was one of the best courtyards that I've stayed at ! It seems recently renovated.. everything very clean , lobby and rooms . My favorite part of our stay was the service we received from the front desk staff and the staff at the bistro! The young man there never lost his cool even though he could've easily been overwhelmed with the crowd ! And every time we left or came back to the hotel we were greeted so warmly by the front desk ladies! It really stood out to my kids also that they were so friendly ! read more

The Hotel is located in the Square of Carrollton. It's close to everything. Parking lot was very big but at night it was a little difficult to find spots . This hotel is Absolutely beautiful. We stayed 5 days and 4 nights and I must say I had no complaints. As soon as you walk in you are greeted and the checkin process is super easy. Everything is in the main entrance area. The Bistro takes up majority of the space in the entrance way which makes it so warming. Down the hall is the indoor pool and the fitness center and the elevators. The rooms were very clean, not too big but just enough room. When you walk in the bathroom was located to the left which had a big walk in shower. Next to the bathroom was a closet that had the usual ironing board and iron. Suitcase rack, safe and robe and hangers. Straight ahead was a closet that when you opened it you found the refrigerator and ice bucket and cups. To the right of that was the mini coffee maker. I would definitely stay here again. However, we did hear some trains early in the morning but not loud enough to make me complain about the noise. I highly recommend this hotel if you are out in the Carrollton Area read more

Beautiful inside and out. Cozy and welcoming. Those are the main words i can think of to describe this hotel. I enjoyed the bar with a friend last night, the bartender was friendly and we had great conversations. She told me about a few fun things to do around town. The breakfast was delicious i highly recommend eggs your way. A lot of food for a good price and the fact they served Starbucks made it that much more enjoyable read more

This place is new, and you can tell, in a good way! They welcomed me as a Bonvoy Gold Elite member, which although is expected it's still a nice touch . Stay here on business and had a King bed with sofa. The room was very modern and nice, plenty of plugs for electronics. Front desk staff were cordial and welcoming. Definitely will stay here again if the opportunity arises again. For the category of hotel this is, it's a 5 star...easily. read more

Great place to stay while in Carrollton. Very clean, quiet and comfortable. The rooms were a bit luxurious and we'll laid out. The swimming pool was a nice bonus, even though I did not have a chance to try it. The staff was friendly and helpful, they even invited me back! My one question, and it's apparently an issue as well in the rooms my cousins were staying in: where is the exhaust fan in the bathroom? It fogs up pretty quickly. read more

Great place to stay when in Carrollton. I was really glad to see a Marriott open in Carrollton. I was even more excited when I learned it was right smack dab in the middle of downtown. Just a couple blocks of walking and you can have your choice of a dinner restaurant. This place is clean and new. It is your standard Courtyard by Marriott. I appreciate knowing exactly what I'm walking into when I walk into a Courtyard. The room was a good size and the bed was very comfy. It was a little odd to me that the tv was more to the side of the bed than in the front. Also, although the shower was modern looking with no way to close it completely, it did let water spill out, since there was no door. This is my new hotel of choice in Carrollton. read more

I was in Carrollton for a wedding and needed a place to stay. I am beyond thrilled that I found this place, as it was an excellent experience! I had a flight that arrived in ATL very early in the morning where I rented a car and made the hour long ride to Carrollton. I was running on a few hours of sleep that I got on the plane, so I was really hoping that I would be able to check in early, take a nap, and then get ready for the wedding. I was expecting them to turn me away as check in wasn't until 3pm, but when I went to ask the lady at the front desk, she checked me in! I was so grateful because I needed the extra hours of sleep in a comfy bed and a place to get ready, otherwise I would look like a hot mess at the wedding. Oh boy, was the bed comfortable! I could sleep in it all day. And I did just about that. When I was not at the wedding, I was knocked out on that bed. It was perfect! I was trying to wake up early the next day, so I can drive into ATL early to get in more activities before my flight home, but I ended up sleeping in until I had to check out. I did not want to leave that bed. The staff at this hotel are top notch. They are very friendly and helpful! Whatever I needed they were there to help with a smile on their face. They also complimented me on my wedding look! If I were to go back to Carrollton, I would definitely stay here again. No questions asked. read more

Ongoing problem with no hot water. I'm a travel medical professional who works at the local hospital. I work every other week, 12 hour shifts for 7 days straight - one week on, one week off. I NEED TO BE ABLE TO SHOWER IN THE MORNING! I have experienced no hot water off and on during both of my stays. I tried to call the front desk to notify them of the problem - no one answered! When I spoke with the woman at the desk, she said that I should have called and she could "flip a switch/push a button which might help". Her explanation was that they are having problems with their hot water system. Why have they not been able to resolve this in 3 weeks? I leave you with this: If you or your loved one were a patient in the ICU and you knew the professional that came to your bedside had not showered that morning, how would that make you feel? This ongoing problem is unexcusable and needs corporate's intervention immediately! Addendum: This morning, again, no hot water and no answer at the front desk. I had to dress, go down to the lobby and search for an employee. He told me he had to go down and "check on the boilers"! He came to my door and said I could shower in the room across the hallway, that he had checked and their was hot water there. Unbelievable! read more

I was here overnight and booked last minute through Priceline since it was cheaper than the hotel site and any discounts I could find. It's in a great location within walking distance to downtown and there's plenty of parking at the hotel so it's easy to park and then just walk a block or two to lots of great restaurants, boutique shopping, and other stores. The front desk staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. The room was spotlessly clean and while I could hear some noise from I think the room above or next to me, it was pretty faint and not distracting. The bed was very comfortable and I liked the room set up. The only thing I didn't love was the walk in shower because the water misted the floor towel and made it damp but that's pretty minor and not a huge retraction from an otherwise great hotel. I had breakfast at the Bistro in the morning. It's a little pricey, but the staff was very friendly and I liked that they had Starbucks drinks available too. I had a Signature Latte and really liked it a lot. Overall a great place to stay and I hope to have reason to stay again. read more

I stay at Courtyard's most of the time for work, and this is my favorite one. The rooms are always clean, and the staff is always gracious and friendly. It's a good location with a quick walk to downtown. My only complaint is a minor one, and it's that they run out of certain dishes quite often at the bistro (my favorites are the brussell sprouts and the flatbread). It's a great hotel that's reasonably priced, and I'd recommend it to anyone traveling for business. read more

As a contractor who has worked in Carrollton periodically over the past 3 years, THANK GOODNESS they built this place! People who are just now travelling to Carrollton have no idea how bad we used to have it ;) If this place isn't booked up and you need to stay in Carrollton, book it. Hands down. The facility is new and ridiculously nice. It is evident that whoever trained the staff did a phenomenal job. Once, when I checked in at 2 AM, I received the same professional and ridiculously chipper service as the nights I checked in at normal hours. We used to work in the lobby as a team and had some late nights (1, 2 AM)...the servers at the bistro made it a point to come to us (which they don't have to do) and offer coffee. Definitely an A+ in every customer service aspect. It's always clean, brand new, perfect location near downtown, and great staff. You really can't ask for more. read more

I recently setup a reservation at this facility a month and 1/2 in advance and confirmed 3 day before scheduled stay. The hotel overbooked and canceled my reservation and put me 30 minutes away. Surely there were reservations made after mine. Very bad practice and poor customer service read more

The hotel is spectacular. Clean and in great shape. My negative review is because of the staff attitudes on day of checkout which was Saturday December 14th, 2019. First, on checkin day, the front desk clerk was unsure of when breakfast was served in the AM. Travelers rely on this for convenience, especially when you're spending $153 a night. Finally confirmed it was 7AM (a little late in my opinion, but whatever). We shower and pack up to depart and have breakfast and it's a ghost town down in the lobby. They said no breakfast because the computer system went down?!?!?! Ok, I get it, I've never needed a computer system to make breakfast but fine! My problem comes from the little rude front desk clerk who was asked by another customer if she could at least get coffee? The clerk said of course , then when the lady turned around, the clerk rolled her eyes and threw her hands up in the air. I looked at her and said that is not necessary as all the lady did was asked a question and I expect much more out of Marriott staff. I suggest we refrain from hiring juvenile delinquents Marriott. read more

However this is the second time we've stayed here and our room #322 smells of urine when the AC isn't on.... Slightly strange. Loved this Marriott! Everything was clean and comfortable. We didn't get to stay long enough to try out the Bistro downstairs but it looked amazing. The staff was very friendly and helpful. We were able to walk right across the street for dinner at Little Hawaiian which I also highly recommend. read more
