We spent one night here while in town for a concert. My feelings are honestly mixed. The staff at the hotel were excellent! Súper friendly/super helpful! The hotel is being renovated which apparently it desperately needed. Our room was brand new. We loved everything about it. The exterior of the hotel needs some work. A simple grass mowing would help a ton...it honestly looked a little sketchy due to the uncut grass and weeds. There is a super budget hotel next door that is definitely sketchy and another Marriott property across the parking lot that is also under renovation. It's in a weird location behind the mall; it's difficult to find due to a lack of signage. Would I stay again? Yes, if the price was right (which it was this time) and if the renovations were complete (including mowed grass). read more

You'll find widely varied reviews. A reason for that is that there are two courtyards in Peoria. The other Courtyard is a lot newer than this hotel. PLEASE SEE THE PICTURES I'm a Titanium Elite and a Platinum Lifetime member. This rooms at this hotel obviously need updating. The lobby is classic Courtyard but the rooms need attention. For example, no trash can in our room. The tissue cover was there but no box of tissues. The carpet is stained, the bathroom door won't close, the furniture old and scratched up. read more

The picture of the bar/restaruant iaccurate no one is there. No one to cook food no one to get a drink the guy at the desk said they don't have a liquor license. No breakfast. And you had better get up early to get a cup of coffee it's gone early and then they the coffee is over with. Little league tourney using our window for a backstop on the first floor front desk only replied with help after two visits. Smoke alarm went off at 3 in the morning took it down and took to front desk , I think I woke up the desk clerk. The when we finally got back to sleep someone wanted to replace the smoke alarm banging on the door while we were trying to sleep in with the sign on the door. Later when I went to front desk they said they had to wait to go get a battery somewhere. read more

When you visit a Courtyard you typically can expect the same experience. Personally I like that when I am On business. I like to stay at Courtyards because of that feeling of coming home during the week. Peoria Courtyard was a nice hotel. Rooms were nice, staff were all accommodating. One of the employees gave me a cup of coffee while they were setting up because I had to leave so early. I appreciate that. If I had to make a recommendation for the Peoria Marriott at Courtyard it would be to have 2 employees at the reception and bar area. One person running back and forth was not efficient for the employee or for the guest who was in a hurry. This Marriott is near a mall for those who like yo shop. It's easy to get on and off the interstate so honestly it's very accessible for all. read more

I had a great stay here! Cean greeted us at check in. He was new at this specific location and had such a positive/pleasant attitude. It was an absolute pleasure to talk to him. We also had the pleasure of talking to Tom who was helping Cean on his first day. Tom was super great as well and so wonderful to talk to! I had an issue with the smell of my room and Tom fixed it immediately. Breakfast was great here and my bed was SO COMFORTABLE! I will definitely be staying here again! read more

It's your standard Courtyard that is updated to the latest standards,uses the 2008 designs/decor, so you will find the new and improved lobbies and of course the Bistro. And yes, it has the customary Starbucks coffee machine. +Spacious Rooms. If you were lucky, you might be assigned a small balcony that had a small chair. While the view wasn't great, you either overlook the highway or the parking lot, it was nice to be able to get some fresh air. + Free wifi that actually worked + Shower head was high and no ducking was necessary in order to use + The tub had a small space to sit on or place things on without getting wet + Extremely friendly staff was extremely friendly during my stay + Location- it was next to or within a 5 minute drive of restaurants +The king bed rooms, the bed wasn't against a shared wall and so it allowed for less noise from other rooms to be heard Cons: - Location- This place is off of an access road and 10 to 1 your GPS will have you circling around forever. When I called they weren't shocked at all that I was lost and sort of laughed about how many people have issues when I arrived asking about their location. -TV reception- This appears to be a continuing trend with all hotels that I have been staying with. The digital channels will short out if there is any type of weather or connections issues. Not a deal breaker, but extremely annoying when trying to watch a game of any sort. **Tip for finding your way to the hotel, look for a mall and drive around it until you see Teamsters Drive. There are small signs, but it you aren't looking in the right place, you will miss them. read more

Of all the hotels I've stayed at all over US and in foreign countries I was really impressed with this hotel. I grew up in Peoria and never knew this hidden gem was so great until I had to come back for a funeral. This will for sure be one of my top choices whenever I come back to the area. The place is very clean and the staff was very nice. The beds were comfortable, so comfortable that I was ready to book one more night if I didn't have to head home. Great place for the price. It's true: the location is not great and it's difficult to find. But that's no reason to give it a bad review. Room was updated, clean, and comfortable. As far as the bistro, there is no complimentary breakfast and the drink prices are what I would expect from a hotel bar. Meaning, it's pricey but you're not paying $10 for a Bud Light either. Pretty limited selection too. The workout room was well kept and equipment was great. It even had it's own cooling system so the room was kept very cold for your workout. That was much appreciated. Overall, I was pleased. For what you pay for a room you are getting a good night's stay. Will happily stay here again. read more

They have all the amenities I've come to expect from the Marriott Courtyard chain; friendly staff, a clean spacious room, an "in-room" coffee maker (although it's an outdated 4-cup drip variety), a decent sized updated TV, comfortable mattress and pillows, complimentary shampoo, conditioner, soap, and lotion, a hair dryer, pool, fitness center, public computers & printers for use, The Bistro*** (a restaurant and bar of sorts), and so on... *** I occasionally eat at "The Bistro" right here in the lobby of the Courtyard Marriott hotel, where they serve a decent breakfast and a decent dinner (mostly of a sandwich variety). Eating here at The Bistro, It's more of a convenience than anything else, but they have, in addition to their food menu, a full bar to wind down in if needed... The hotel price is reasonable and varies depending on room availability. The place is hard to find your first time here and the entrance is found off the mall drive. Good location, It's not too far from all the action... Without sounding too redundant, if you're in Peoria this Marriott Courtyard is worth the stay... read more

This is a good place to stay if you find yourself in Peoria. I've stayed in a few other hotels in town and have been disappointed by each of 'em, but this Courtyard is a solid one. The staff was friendly and helpful, and the rooms were clean and well-kept. Not much more one can ask for in a hotel. If you frequent Marriott in your travels--especially the Courtyards--you'll find that this one meets expectations quite nicely. Yes this hotel is a little bit "hidden", it's off a frontage road. It wasn't that hard to find. I stayed for work by myself. I would say it's the best hotel in the area. I felt safe and the staff was very accommodating. The rooms were really nice. I heard constant banging above me for hours one night. I called the front desk mainly out of concern and they said they would call rooms above me but the banging never stopped. I don't mind noise, I just wanted to make sure everything was okay. Hi staying at this Marriott courtyard for a softball tournament in Peoria. the hotel has been re-done to the relatively new standards of the courtyard kind of rooms just OK . the owner of this hotel is managing to milk this place to such a degree that they have one person on staff to check in people ,make the advertised expresso coffee in the morning to deliver towels in the evening for a room that wasn't cleaned. I would recommend against staying at this location .Further the address is misleading and that the only access is via a frontage road around a regional shopping center and then a single lane road that is pockmarked and horrible access . BTW staff was great but over tasked . I stay at Marriot's brands 35 + nights per year read more

Not ok. First - it's in a sketchy part of town accessible only by a confusing drive around a crappy mall. The people who work there were delightful - but that doesn't make up for the property. The gym equipment didn't work and I could find no one to help. The thermostat didn't work. I froze, then sweated all night. The hairdryer didn't work - I called the front desk and they came up to my room to "fix" the dryer at 5am. They didn't bring me a new hairdryer - but to "see what I was doing wrong"? And the last straw - no vodka, no white wine, no IPAs - basically no drinks on the menu were available. Bad. read more

I stayed here recently and was thoroughly impressed with both the staff, the accommodations and the overall look of the hotel. The rooms were nice and well-kept. The lobby/bar/food areas were all very nice and modern. It was nice to not only have the mini-mart near the check-in desk, but also a pretty full menu of items from breakfast into dinner, plus a bar and Starbucks station. I'm a frequent traveler and a Marriott Awards Member. I stayed for three nights April 11 - 14. The hotel was out of bottled water. The hotel has a Starbuck's in the lobby and will not provide free coffee for guests in the lobby. I've been to dozens of hotels all over the country and every hotel has complimentary coffee in the lobby. What make matters worse, is that I have many Starbucks gift cards and the Marriott Starbucks will not honor the Starbucks gift cards. $8 for two coffees, no bottled watered for three days....bad experience, and $145 per night without breakfast, and then add the coffee insult costs. I'm not staying here again !!! read more

I don't always stay in Peoria, but when I do, I stay at the Courtyard on W War Memorial Drive. The only negative is its a little bit of a trick to find the first time. Google maps turn by turn will mislead you, which is not fun when you get in at 11pm and you're exhausted from 8 hours of flights. After that, its all plusses. The breakfast in the morning is delicious and they're super friendly. In the evening I've eaten at the bistro quite a few times and the evening lady there is awesome. Front desk has always been helpful with all my various needs and my room has always been nice and clean. As someone who's practically lived at this hotel some months, I most definitely recommend them. read more

I booked a reservation for April 27th back on January 16th, 2019 as part of a gift for my wife along with concert tickets. I used Marriott.com to make my reservation and received confirmation of my booking. Upon arrival at the hotel, my wife and I were informed that they had to move us to another hotel due to overbooking. Their solution was to send us to a hotel 6 miles away. I'm not sure of the process for selecting whose weekend they get to ruin, but we drew the short straw. I'm also unclear as to why no one was considerate enough to contact me ahead of time. The whole purpose of booking the Courtyard was due to their proximity to the Civic Center, where the concert was at. The hotel they set us up in was not near the equivalent in regards to amenities, location, or experience. Marriott ensured me that they had notified the other hotel of our arrival and there wouldn't be any issues checking in. This was not the case. Additionally, we were unable to set up transportation to the concert so we were forced to drive and pay for parking. Had I wanted to stay at a $70 per night hotel 6 miles from the concert, I would have booked that to begin with. To top it all off, we woke up the next morning to NO hot water in the entire hotel. The worst part for me is that we were informed by a manager that a total of 17 customers were forced to relocate to various hotels across the city. If this is how customer service is provided by Marriott, then I have no interest in doing business with them. I sent an email to the manager that we dealt with that evening, and have yet to hear anything back. I also intend on filing a formal complaint through their website. If my experience so far is an indication of how much they care about their customers, I don't expect anything other insincere apologies. read more

We arrived at the courtyard Marriott after a playing a show in Peoria. After receiving some not so hopeful news about our reservation from the lady on the phone we were delighted to arrive at the hotel to meet Elmer. Elmer showed amazing hospitality by giving us not only a warm welcome but also being extremely accommodating. He went out of his way to make our stay comfortable bringing us rollaway beds and plenty of sheets. Three cheers for Elmer! A+ read more

As a 650 night lifetime premium rewards member this property was perfectly fine from friendly and welcoming staff at check in and the bistro. The rooms were fine. The property is kind of off the beaten path but any GPS will bring you right to the hotel. I would stay here again when in the area and highly recommend to others. just stayed there on a business trip. saw the great yelp reviews and called immediately to book a room. they asked for payment over the phone so we gave them my bosses company card. they can only email a confirmation to one email address with no cc. , so i gave them mine. they emailed me a receipt , which i forwarded to my boss. when i check in , the night clerk, asks for a credit card. i figure this is to cover extras, food, etc. Instead , he erases the mastercard info and charges the whole stay on my personal amex. Never tells me this. the room smelled musty , like dog. or worse yet b.o. room was small and tv is beside the bed so you have to look sideways when watching tv in your bed. remote was filthy. when i catch the billing error on my statement, i call up the hotel , and the guy starts arguing with me asking how they're going to get paid, and what exactly do i want him to do about it. he cant find the mastercard in the system, so he automatically thinks im wrong and starts arguing with me. he finally finds the mastercard in they system , but does not know how to rebill, so he says the manager will have to call me back. its been an hour and no call. read more

Great hotel! I travel frequently and am a gold level Marriott member. This place is clean, updated, rooms are great, and staff is top notch!! front desk staff is great, as is the bartender. Great lounge area. The location is a huge challenge to get to. I think better signage could be helpful but it is tucked away and hidden from street view. Only critque is stop having FOX news on TV. I have no interest in listening to the agenda of the right or left when staying in a hotel. read more

This hotel has truly gone above and beyond for my husbamd and I. We flew into Peoria airport to pick up my husbands work truck from Bloomington. The airline lost my luggage, so we were stuck here overnight waiting for my luggage to get here. While waiting for the uber to get to the airport to take us to the hotel we were talking to a lady about our dilemma. Little did we know everyone that we have come into contact with would bless us in one way or another. The lady at the airport happened to manager the hotel next door. This woman, bless her heart, called the hotel and set us up. Upon arrival we were greeted by the sweetest front desk lady. We were given 2 complimentary welcome packages, our dinner and drinks were comped as well as breakfast. The lady at the bistro made us some excellent food and drinks. From the bottom of our hearts we want to thank you all so much for the kindness you all have shown us. After a long day of flying and losing our luggage nothing is more grand then to be given so much hospitality and the kindness. Great job! Thank you so much! read more
