If you can avoid Courtyard and can plan your stay else where I'd definitely recommend that. The room looked ok upon arriving but once you walking around and using the sink and find hairs in the new towels you think about staying there at all. I was in for two nights and still regret staying here. The front desk staff was friendly and helpful. The sink would take about 2 minutes before draining down. The bed was not comfortable at all, felt like I was laying down on a pallet of bricks. Definitely recommend trying out another spot to stay in.

Well... It's a no from me dawg. Here's the deal. I try not to be too critical. This stuff is just simple to ensure it's correct. The facility from far looks good. Getting into the details causes concern. There is basic maintenance that can be performed to fix the gaps in the shower that will cause mold and bacteria to form. There were 3 towels in my room. One was ok. One had red wine (I hope) stains. And one had huge long hairs in it like it was wrapped around someone hair. (I'm bald). The shower curtain was too short or the rod was too high. A huge water mess was on the ground after I showered. The shampoo holders had failing caulking all around it. The carpets aren't great. The AC is a little old. I ALWAYS stay at Marriott properties. Not this one. I will definitely choose a Spring Hill.

Cute hotel came here on 2-22-24 and our room was fine. We had a little problem checking in because the system was glitching. The bed was not as comfortable as most other Marriotts we have stayed at. Also this hotel does not offer free breakfast but they do have a Starbucks. We stayed here because of the convenience but next time we will stay at the Hilton next door. My relatives stayed there and they had better amenities there. They said they had a kitchen and living room at the Hilton. Now we know and now you know.

    Beautiful back patio!!

I feel like I'm going to butcher her name, but Acalli, at the bistro, was simply amazing. We grabbed some late night snacks after attending a friend's memorial service and she couldn't have been kinder and sweeter. She made our whole stay extraordinary. But the front desk gals were awesome too! Great location central to all we needed with a wonderful back patio!!

Outside fire pit with plenty of chairs.

Excellent customer service delivered. By every. Single. Person. Could not ask for better staff. We had a hiccup in the room they took care of it immediately. Out only complaint is the beds are really hard. They need a mattress topper. Seriously felt like Sheetrock with sheets. Every other amenity was perfect. Beds are a personal preference.

We stayed in the area and booked through orbitz. The check in was easy. We came during COVID-19 so some things were closed. The room was nice. It had a comfortable bed. They used good products in the bathroom. I would definitely stay here again.

Stayed one night on November 3rd. We were in room 107. Room and bathroom were very nice and clean. We had a courtyard view. The only downside was, we weren't informed that there was a $12.00 parking fee. I received an email on 11/5 from my credit card company informing me that there were charges of $20.00 and $10.00 on my card. I contacted the hotel. Spoke to a woman to explain to me what the charges were. I called at 10:48 am PST. I'm putting the time down because I didn't get her name. If management reads my review they will know what staff worked that day. She came out very rude with her tone and attitude. I had to explain to her that she works as customer service and to stop the rudeness and explain to me the charges. She did apologize after. I was going to give this place a 4 star review. But because they did not inform us of the parking fee and the rudeness of the employee over the phone, that's why it's a 3 star review.

Empty Vodka Bottle that greeted us. (Which we informed the front desk).

My boyfriend is a Hyatt employee and was booking a stay for his brother and his brother's girlfriend to celebrate her birthday. Prior to their arrival, he called multiple times regarding a Friends & Family discount reservation that he was having issues with on his portal and needed guidance because the portal wasn't working correctly and not letting him book. There was another front desk agent (Not sue) who he spoke with and the other lady was incredibly helpful, answered all of his questions etc. However, when he called a third time to let the hotel know they were on their way, Sue answered the phone and immediately came across as dismissive and rude. Rather than taking the time to understand the situation or speak with the employee who had been assisting us previously on the phone. And sue repeatedly implied that we were lying and stated that the previous front desk agent would never have provided the information we were given. What made the interaction especially frustrating was that my boyfriend is also a Hyatt employee and is very familiar with Hyatt's standards of customer service. We have stayed at many Hyatt properties over the years and have never experienced anything like this. Instead of working toward a solution, we felt accused, dismissed, and treated with unnecessary hostility. This is a situation we don't take lightly. We have call logs documenting the multiple conversations that took place before arrival and would be happy to provide them if needed. This experience fell far below the level of hospitality we have come to expect from Hyatt. We hope that future guests do not have a similar experience. The only positive aspect of our experience was the other front desk employee who initially assisted us and was professional, patient, and genuinely helpful throughout the process. Unfortunately, that level of service was overshadowed by our interaction with Sue. And to be honest this was just completely embarrassing for us to have his brother stand there with the girlfriend trying to make her birthday night stay good to just be experiencing this all when they arrive.

The hotel's location is ideal, as it is conveniently situated near all the amenities and necessities one might require. However, I encountered an issue during my recent stay. While waiting for my turn at the front desk, I overheard a woman complaining about a potential intruder in her room while she was away. Upon her return, she discovered that her door was propped open by the latch. After she departed, it was my turn to check in. The front desk attendant failed to recognize me as a Marriott Bonvoy member and neglected to provide me with the welcome bag that members receive. Upon entering my room, I conducted a thorough inspection and discovered that the latch securing the window was broken, rendering the window unsecured. Additionally, the television, which typically displays a welcome message for Bonvoy members, was absent. At checkout, I received a physical copy of my receipt, which was a positive outcome, as my stay was not recorded in the Marriott App, nor did I receive my points. I subsequently uploaded my receipt to the "Missing a stay" section of the app in the hope of receiving credit for my stay and points.

I had to stay in the Cal Expo area all summer and was very excited to get back to this hotel, since it was always my favorite, due to amenities and proximity to activities I enjoy in Auburn. I am not sure when it began, but they now want us to pay an external parking service when staying here. This is the first time I've encountered this. It is already wild to pay for parking in an area like Roseville, with a huge surplus of parking spots, but I never took issue. I booked this room, even though it was $75 more a night than the other Residence Inn I stay at in Sacramento. Finding out that I need to scan a QR code after a long day of travel and work seems like more work for me, as a consumer. I look to stay at places that ease my burden, not add to it. I won't stay here again. I must say, the manager, I believe her name was Monica, tried her best to accomodate me on this and future visits, but again, it all seems like more work and communication from me, which I am not willing to do. Multiple hours of travel and often 12 hours of work before I can check in, the last thing I want to do is pay on an external site and need to upload another receipt for my business expenses. Your greed outsourcing parking charges, or even chargin at all when a room is close to $300 when there is ample parking all around, is a dealbreaker.

Within minutes of checking in, I noticed visible cleanliness issues that were hard to overlook, including dark spots and stains on the bedding, debris and dirt under the bed, and general signs of wear throughout the room. These are the kinds of things most guests notice immediately, and it made it difficult to feel comfortable settling in. Beyond the bed and floors, the room showed additional signs of poor upkeep. The lamp shade had visible stains and discoloration, and the privacy drape had what was very clearly someone's dried snot on it. Once I saw that, yes, I inspected the room further because I felt I had to. While checking the bed, I found dried raisins wedged between the mattress and the box spring. There was also an odd white powdery substance on the bottom of the TV that continued across the top of the dresser. None of this should ever be present in a room that is supposed to be cleaned and ready for a new guest. What made this more frustrating is that the room did not match the photos shown on the website. The online pictures present a much cleaner, better-maintained space than what you actually get in person. The difference between expectation and reality was obvious right away. Breakfast was another area of confusion. Some places on the website say continental breakfast, while other areas call it grab and go. In reality, you have to fill out a paper form with your selections and drop it off at the front desk. That may work for some people, but the way it is described online is inconsistent and misleading. Parking is now an additional $12 per day. We were given a paper to place in the car at check-in, but when we left, we noticed plenty of cars in the lot without any visible paper at all. It's unclear how this is actually monitored, and it came across less like a managed system and more like an easy way to collect extra money from guests.

At check in I was handed a map of the hotel. Told to park my car behind the hotel, enter the rear door take the elevator to 3rd floor and my room would be right there. I did what was suggested, parked out back and went through the back door. Once inside the back door there was NO signage anywhere that indicated the location of the elevator, in fact it wasn't even on the map I got from the front deck. While searching the hallways for an elevator, I came across a couple and a family on the same quest as me. The couple said, they found an elevator near the front of the hotel, but it was out of service! Eventually we found the only operating elevator, although a bit on the small side. It took a few trips to get everyone to their respective floors. As I was trying to get settled in, I could hear other people having the same problem trying to locate the elevator. The front desk staff never indicated that there was only one operating elevator, nor did they indicate where the elevator was. As people were moving about on the different floors, making their way to their rooms, dragging bags and pushing hotel luggage carts. You could feel every move that was made, the room literally moved under my feet. This gave me concern as to the overall structural integrity of the building I was in. Even latter that night as I was in bed watching tv, I could feel the room moving as people moved around outside. I hope that the building is checked for structural integrity in the near future. They did have a pool and hot tub; The kids all seemed to enjoy going back and forth between the two. As for the lounge, it left a lot to be desired. Definitely not worth wasting your time over. Nearby restaurants were ihop and outback, never checked them out. The morning breakfast, how should I put this? Typical cheap fare, the waffle stations were taken over by the kids, as to be expected there was the typical assortment. Sausage patties from Costco, Bacon so thin it only had one side, and yes, you could read the Sunday funny's though it. The eggs looked as if they had the texture cottage cheese. They reminded me of military field rations (if you know, you know!), for those that don't (powdered eggs). coffee was weak at best; They did have glue in a pot (oatmeal). Even the juice was watered down. All in all, breakfast gets 1.75 stars! That's only for presentation. But the best was yet to come, when I went to check out. I was informed that I would not be refunded for the second night, when I asked why? they said they don't do refunds! But I could stay another night... Not on your life sweetheart. I would not, will not ever return to that property ever again. To say I was disappointed is an understatement.
