Service was slow, but was greeted at the door by a man named Rick and his son Carol. They seemed quite nice! We stopped in off the 5, and saw a man waving us through the giant holes in the fence. He said his name was Darryl. He seemed nice and friendly as well. Crossbow was ominous, but i appreciate the level of security The water had a green hue, but that was likely the cucumbers in the water! (For customers only) the sandwiches were to die for. I understand the hype. You can't leave without eating one. All in all I would go back next time I'm traveling down the 5 I did find it odd that someone would bring a baseball bat with barbed wire, to a top golf, maybe they added batting cages around back. Me and my family stopped here to use the facilities after a long road trip of dropping off my sister at college. The high fences were a good and inviting indication that the people here were friendly and welcoming. So naturally we gravitated toward the entrance. The workers were...friendly? Very standoffish, awkward, and disturbingly grey. We relieved ourselves in the bathroom & they ran at us to buy their sandwiches. We said no, but i got a picture of one of the workers trying to hand my mom a sandwich!! We narrowly made it back to the car, but I feel like my mom is different now... 9/10 experience. On the way back from a memorial, my dad, brother and I stopped here because we heard the sandwiches were great. We didn't know this place had a spa and we decided to kill a few hours getting the full treatment!! The facial was amazing and the sandwiches they hand fed us were delectable. Unfortunately, it was very difficult to understand their strange dialect but I can't knock for that! One thing to note: the workers are tinged a bit green. Don't stare because it seems to make them uncomfortable!! Would definitely stop here again. read more

We were driving to L.A to help my sister move into college when it suddenly got dark and late, when god decided to bless us as we drove past this beautiful establishment with stunning, elaborate fences, exquisite, delectable gourmet meals, and a phenomenal atmosphere of a resort. The staff were extremely involved, wearing a full green body suit with a bright green aroma. they immediately sensed my emotional state and adjusted the ambiance accordingly. They speak a beautiful language and make quite hilarious jokes, such as taking over humanity of some sort Overall 10/0 experience. I would 100% choose over any ritz! read more

As I drove by, admiring the large steely fence that housed a zombie or two, a huge turd splattered on my windshield! It momentarily made me swerve across all four lanes of the highway, up the median, and through the fence. Once I regained consciousness, I realized I had landed right in front of the recycling pit! What luck! I threw my two empty tall cans of Mad Dog 20/20 into the pit, pulled out a fresh beer from the cooler, shotgunned that bad boy in two gulps, tossed it in the pit, and high-tailed it out of there. Had a long drive and too much coffee so naturally I needed to use the bathroom. It was getting pretty urgent and it wasn't the kind of bathroom break I could have on the side of the road. Thankfully I saw a hole in the massive fence and just fully sent it inside. Bathroom was very clean and the people working there were nice. They talk too much and they did seem a little malnourished, but grateful they helped me out! Got a sandwich before leaving and the meat was grey and a little bit tough. I think they could tell I didn't like it and they seemed a bit irritated so I left as soon as possible after that. Weird vibes but at least I didn't shit my pants. read more

We were driving back down the 5 and decided to stop here to try to use the bathroom. As we pulled up, we saw a guy repairing a hole in the fence so we asked him what this building is. All he replied was "The veil is thin in this place..." Fresh air, edible sandwich! I lost sight of my dad for several minutes and when he was returned to me his personality was different and his eyes seemed empty like he was a shell of his former self. Otherwise we had a nice tour of the "recycling" facility. The massive hole in the fence was the perfect size for the spectacularly large teratorn to come through. I had thought teratornis birds were extinct, but my dad told me never to speak of it again. read more

Ok. So my husband and I got a flat tire on the 5 and luckily were stuck by this place. The holes in the giant fence oddly worked to our advantage because a man crawled through not too long after being there and kind of stumbled towards our car. He then helped us replace the tire. 5 star review right there. But no. We should have known something was up at first since he literally appeared out of nowhere right away from this giant fence with like no one else in sight... like how was there already?! Anyways, he goes to ask for compensation for fixing the tire. We pull out a $100 cuz we felt bad since he was so old u guys (he looked gray honestly like almost scary) and he starts LITERALLY freaking out on us screaming saying he only takes flesh. Flesh?! You kidding? No effing way. We jumped in the car so fast and drove away. So weird. read more

Overall, one of the better recycling centers I have seen off a freeway in my life. It is great to see that the birds can now charge on the fence while watching the passerbys on the I-5. They clearly are making sure to live by their statement of recycling electronic waste efficiently. Although, since there was rain on the way back down south, perhaps the the government birds would have malfunctioned in the heavy rain. Definitely worth some investigation from another reviewer to look into. The only reason I have to deduct a star however is because of some holes in the fence. This would be detrimental if a zombie outbreak occurred at the facility. Pretty sure I saw Shane from the Walking Dead there that was pretty cool. Very unfortunate this would have been my first recycling center to get 5 stars! read more

Had a lovely conversation from a gray being along the side of the road. Explained to me the whole process of recycling but was very handsy... kept putting his hands on my back and moving them lower. Passed this place many times during my trips on the 5, always wondered what it was, finally decided to stop and check it out. I got into the area via holes in the fence, btw y'all should probably get those fixed, but anyway the only person I could find was an oddly pale grey man who offered me some of the meat he was eating. I declined because I didn't know what kind of meat it was and it looked uncooked. He spooked me so I went back through the hole to my car. Probably wouldn't visit again but it wasn't bad! read more

Would've given this place 5 stars, but as we passed by we noticed a guy limping towards the highway and was concerned for his safety. Already concerned since he looked oddly grey, and his arm was bent the wrong way, honestly looked like he wanted to bite somebody. Not sure what that was about. My boyfriend and I stopped to drop a couple bags of recyclables on our way back home from vacation in the bay. We noticed it started to smell like brisket and found a man selling barbecue on the side of the road. We usually stop at a taco stand on the way home, so we thought it would be a good substitute. The service was slow, but we understood because he was so old and oddly pale. Kinda felt bad for the guy. He started to moan and groan as he was handing over our sandwiches, so we figured we would pay up and get out of there before he was having too hard of a time. 10/10 Nice tall, tidy fence keeps both trash and experimental zombies from escaping onto the highway.

Overall good for the environment! However I did see the crows looking a bit sluggish, suggest maybe replacing their batteries. ?
