Looking for new primary care is often difficult or even specialist as for me I'm very selective and…read moreI need to feel as if I can joke with them(that's my personality) but perhaps it's my nervousness in being so humble and exposing my personal life (despite being rather boring and uneventful). Anyhow a friend of mine recommended them as she had been going there for awhile. I didn't get to see the doctor she sees but they am had an NO. her name is Keisha Cloud. my friend didn't know her or even heard much about her and being in healthcare I never heard of her so I was little angst. I know plenty of amazing physicians and many great ones but either they aren't accepting patient's or due to work I wanted to keep it separate. Anyhow In 20 years of being around physicians and specialists I can say she was amazing. She was very focused on our time together, asked questions listened. Made suggestions based on my personal beliefs and thoughts and not try to sell or push me onto anything. She made me feel extremely comfortable and gave me a ton of confidence in allowing her to oversee my care and more. I highly recommend. You can tell she loves what she does.

During that time, one of the clinic…read moreemployees was involved in a personal criminal matter with her outside of the office, ultimately pleading guilty and entering a diversion program. After the employee became aware of my mother's identity, we later discovered through the patient portal that the employee had accessed my mother's medical records, including urine drug screen results. Shortly after court proceedings related to that criminal case, my mother was discharged from the practice and was told it was due to a "conflict of interest." We contacted the practice seeking answers regarding the employee's access to records, the circumstances surrounding additional testing, and the basis for the discharge decision. Unfortunately, rather than providing transparency and accountability, the practice's handling of the situation left us with more questions than answers. Patients deserve confidence that their medical information will be protected and that concerns involving potential conflicts of interest will be thoroughly investigated and addressed. Based on our experience, I cannot recommend this practice.

20201029 update, 2 years from initial visit and still no contacts that worked for me. Also, I never…read morebothered updating my "driving glasses." I just noticed since teleworking from home, that I had boxes and boxes of free sample contacts and then the ones I ended up purchasing from this office for ~ 300.00$-400.00$ which was a big mistake, buying a years supply of contacts that didn't work for me. When I asked them about any compensation or the outside chance I could return them I was told "no." I had numerous follow up consults and fittings for contacts, which involve, each and every time having to special order them, then you *return* to pick up samples (which is usually one week and is free) and I really wanted two weeks to determine if the contacts would solve my vision issue. Makes sense to me, try them 14 days and see how they do, right? I think I was successful in getting a free 14 days' worth of trial contacts once. They were pretty intent on doing this thing where the patient wears one contact in the dominant eye, I believe, and "over time" the other eye compensates/overcompensates and it takes about a month for this system to work for people like me with both nearsightedness and far sightedness - well, just no, as the Dr. did state, this only works for x% of patients. Then we tried daily disposables that could not correct my astigmatism - well these formed intense, uncomfortable calcium buildup after wearing them correctly - how does that even happen when one doesn't clean a daily wear disposable contact? Plus, the male worker (in lab coat, but who isn't) did not introduce himself, just looked at the lenses and made the quick, to-the-point determination that the contacts had extreme calcium buildup. It would have been nice to know his level of experience regarding this (technician, MD???) Regardless, and I really do prefer going to ophthalmologists vice optometrists - I'm in search of an eye dr., after spending a LOT of time and wasted $ with this practice. It was painful to just throw in the trash hundreds of dollars of unused, brand new contact lenses - really hurt. OH, and that prescription was not the final prescription they concocted up for me, along with another multi-hundred dollar purchase price for a different prescription. I didn't want to risk additional 100s of dollars and am glad I didn't. Now, that I am in ~ 6 year old distance glasses, I certainly am not enjoying "my very best vision" (which I think is their motto).
