They have a nice selection of liquors. They are pretty friendly and very helpful. The prices aren't bad either

I can't remember the last time I went anywhere that I felt so welcome. I've shopped in a lot of…read moreliquor stores over the years, but I've never had a single person pull a bottle I asked about and talk to me about the grapes that make that blend. Never. I shopped at Pancho's for 8 years, and no one ever bothered to ask my name, learn what we liked, or have the smallest conversation with us. Same at Sean's and others as well. But this place immediately felt different to me. It seems like this has happened in several places throughout this little burg I've moved to. I can dig it. When I told them I'd just moved nearby, they went out of their way to be friendly, and it seemed like they genuinely wanted to know more about me. Then, we walked around looking at product and they pointed out things they thought I might like, and what my mom might like. Selection is well-curated, with a little something for everything; they clearly employ very friendly and knowledgeable people. When I was there it was the owner, her son, and one other very nice young man helping with stocking. While I was there, Lively Beerworks was setting up for a complimentary tasting, and several regulars came in to buy a few things and to chat. If you're there, don't miss "Joey" the perfect Frenchie that hangs out there during the day. The absolute nicest part - they boxed my goodies, and carried them to my car despite the absolute downpour! Love this little shop and will no doubt be spending lots of time here!

The customer service is awesome, the owner is very helpful, and the selection is plentiful. They also do brewery tastings throughout the months and sometimes they even have food trucks. In my area, this is the MY top Wine and Spirits go to spot.

The decor isn't anything to write home about-concrete floors and walls, but hey it's clean and highly organized, which is kind of a plus. The selection of spirits is deep-the whisky collection being a particular standout. Don't get me wrong the beer and wine selection is okay, but the spirits is what this place is all about. They also carry some super awesome Caribbean rum-all three varieties of brugal for example. Pricing is okay for your lower and mid range quality items. You can get a half rack of big headache el cheapo beer(keystone. PBR) for grocery store prices sure enough, and maker's mark in the mid twenty dollar range isn't any too bad, but the pricing for the higher quality items becomes somewhat uncompetitive. A hundred dollars for booker's bourbon seems excessive. Sure it's the best bourbon on the market buttt......well, good lawd that's a lot of money. Service is ye olde ma and pop-no joke the owner or the owners family are the folks behind the counter. Somewhat better then dealing with your average can't-be-bothered-to-care rank and file miscellaneous employee. Whatever else the counter staff/owners mos def have a stake in the business, and thus tend to try harder. We'll see where all this takes us, but for now this is a good verging on great place for all your inebriatetive needs.

We regularly eat at a small restaurant across the street and on a whim, I decided to check out Edmond Wine Shop. Their beer selection is very good, for a shop their size. Their bourbon selection is even better!! The same staff are generally there when I go in and they are helpful and knowledgeable on the products they sell. Maybe most importantly, their prices are excellent! We don't live all that close, but anytime we are in that area, I stop in and check out what they have.

There's a very small handful of liquor stores around town I return to (2nd Street Wine Company,…read moreFreemans on Western, and Edmond Wine Shop). This store probably just narrowly edges out on top. Their selection of wine, beer and spirits is impressive. More than their selection I love the friendly and helpful staff. As a collective group they are knowledgable about gift giving ideas and crowd pleasers across the board. It's a great place to come if you're looking to try something new-to-you or planning a (2020 style) gathering. They offer wide selection hop forward beverages (both cold and on the shelf). Their carefully curated selection of hop-forward beverages is larger than you'd expect a "wine shop" to offer. However, if you are looking for extensive selection of buy-in-bulk mega-brand beers, I may suggest shopping at your local grocery store instead. Customer service is top notch here. If you can't find what you're looking for, they will offer to see if they can place an order for you. Most commonly you'll have your requested beverage available in store for pickup in within the week. In some cases with limited availability seasonal release items they may be able to set an order aside for you. I shop here for the top-notch carefully curated selection and awesome customer service. Their COVID-19 safety measures (masks, sanitizer, curbside pickup option, and physical distancing) make it feel like a safe place to shop. Thanks, team Edmond Wine Shop. You've handled 2020 with grace, style, and dedication to safety. Cheers to 2021. May it be better than all the weirdness that is 2020. October 2020

Please add a "negative stars" option!!! Horrible customer…read moreservice! I was called, at least two names that I can recall, all because I am not a regular customer and was looking for specific items. I don't know if it was the owner or just a clerk but the treatment I received was the worst I can recall in a liquor store. I will never let my body cast a shadow on those doors again. In fact, I will go as far to inform my friends, family, and the group of liquor enthusiasts that I am a part of to not spend one penny in this place. Horrible human being and horrible customer service!!!

Kind of a bizarre mixed bag kind of of Liquor store…read more It's located in a not very well trafficked strip mall and it's a rare day when you won't be able to park directly in front. The stock and pricing are very competitive. Local/microbrewery beer is available in both a wider range (this is especially true if you like boulevard brewing out of KC) and is a couple of bucks cheaper then just about any place else. Same goes for wine and spirit stocks. The slivovitz and applejack were especially pleasing to see. So far so good right? Welllllllll....come in the daytime hours-when the owner is present-and get prepared for a super awesome customer experience. Specifically if he doesn't recognize you-and he won't not even if you're there three days a week-you'll get the shoplifter profile treatment. The good news is that he'll be standing right behind you the whole time, handy for when you have questions. The downside is that he really hates to answer questions. Me: "hey do you have boulevard bob's 47(it's stacked behind him)?" Owner: "I don't know why we'd carry that." If you try to avoid this whole hot mess beer buying process by coming in the evening when the owner is off doing something else you'll get to deal with the ethically challenged employees. After the third time the same clerk tried to pass off franklin mint novelty coins as a valid currency for my change, I pretty much gave up on this place. Your experiences may vary, but overall there's much less hassle free places to get your beer and skittles around
