Even after you said that I quote you said whoa that was too raw and paused another time you mentioned about reading the sales books and business books those books teach tactics of persuasion speaking why? Doesn't the Bible say God doesn't force anyone nor try to convince them Steven I followed you for years and learned a lot I give credit when it's due that I cannot take from you but your last sermon that was live was all about money and took scripture that speaks about servants and their pay ok that true but why pick only stories that speak on wealth and money now the pastor that was speaking was a great actor should be a comedian or go to Hollywood now back to you not being able to sit in silence isn't that when the Holy Spirit talks? So how do you go on stage saying God told me such and such and scream I don't know who this is for let me tell you it's for you because as i listen your literally preaching to yourself and your helping others and saving souls but where are you going when your at the gates will God say you did great things Steven but like Moses your not gonna enter but you will see it from a distance now Elijah will inherit if he's obedient don't take this the wrong way Steven and his employees as well I'm not here to disrupt what your doing because although I find a lot of negatives there's a lot of great things I can't deny that I just pray you realize what your turning into when I seen you live this week Steven you've lost too much weight and are aging horribly sorry if that seems harsh but Steven you know why the aging process is connected to your faith now you may say it's because of the weight of running business but that's a mistake of expanding faster then you can train I'm trying to help now if you get mad or take this the wrong way I don't care now if you message me I'm willing to give you tactics to prosper more and what locations to close because on business that's starting will starve the other so expansion is great but if your not prepared you leave people in charge not fully trained then come to find out they are doing things not the way you wanted why they weren't ready but you were I can tell and I don't know the analytics but I can tell your ministries wether some are bringing in big bucks some are draining the resource for water bills electricity plumbing construction etc don't take this the wrong way I pray for you Steven and I'll just say the story of Steven the first Christian to be slained for his faith aslo your son Elijah one man against all the worshippers of Baal you know the story my apologies for this but this isn't me that's writing this it's a message from our father God bless the Furtnick family and everyone as well for we all need your father

This has to be one of the most amazing churches in the RDU area. The experience from beginning to end was top notch. Its churches like New Hope who are leading the way for this new age church. New Hope is such a welcoming atmosphere. I was able to attend church in a pair of jeans, a t-shirt and a beannie and NO ONE LOOKED AT ME AS IF I WAS OUT OF PLACE! I was floored. I actually feel as if I fitted right in. I love the multicultural attendance. There is an amazing ratio of nationalities represented at New Hope. The word from the senior pastor was great. He was detailed yet easy to follow. He was engaging yet full of substance. They offer so much! They have a really sweet looking children's church! It looked so cool I wanted to experience it for myself. Just a few tips, get their at least 15 minutes before service time to enjoy the time to mingle. They have a full service starbucks out front and it was pretty packed at the 10:45 service. Also get there early to take advantage of the best parking options. With that being said, give New Hope a try. I look forward to coming back soon!

I didn't grow up with religion, but as I've gotten older and especially since becoming a mom, I've…read morefelt a growing curiosity and desire to better understand it. Over the course of a couple years, I visited various churches hoping to find one where I felt truly welcome, where the people were real and authentic, and where the message resonated in a meaningful, modern way. After attending several services, I often left feeling disheartened. Too often, the messaging felt either exclusive or outdated, and I started to lose hope that a "unicorn" church even existed. I wanted a place that felt right, where the teachings of Jesus were brought into the present day and applied to the issues we're actually facing in the world. Then, in January 2025, I visited Crosspoint for the first time and knew immediately that I had found that place. What initially drew me in were the values listed on their website. What's kept me coming back week after week is the warmth, the community, and the incredibly thoughtful, inclusive messaging. Ironically, it was some of the negative reviews that intrigued me enough to check it out. You could feel the close-mindedness in many of those one-star comments, which only made me more curious to see for myself. I've since brought my daughters, and they've loved being a part of the youth groups, making new friends, and growing comfortable with Christianity in a way I never experienced growing up. They're learning life lessons about kindness, inclusivity, standing up for what's right, and embracing curiosity--things I deeply value as a parent. I'm beyond grateful to have found this church that I searched for for so long. It truly feels like home

Our family has been attending this church for several years now. You really want to like it, but…read morethere was always a sense of something not quite right. We are a multicultural, spiritual family. In the beginning, everything seemed wonderful. People seemed welcoming and open and kind. I think they try really hard to be "welcoming to everyone", but unfortunately, there is definitely a distinct liberal or progressive undercurrent. We were looking for a church, that truly was a welcoming place for everyone, regardless of political views or religious background. I'm not necessarily a huge fan of Catholic churches, in which I was raised, because of the undercurrent of disdain for "sinners". Unfortunately, I feel this church falls into the same trap and is guilty of the same judgment just in the opposing sense. There are frequent and consistent snipes or comments or jabs, at the stupidity of certain demographics and individuals with certain political leanings during sermons. During the most recent sermon, Jeff, a pastor who doesn't even live in North Carolina, vowed to "get political". He stated " know a lot of you are getting uncomfortable and squirming your seats right now". He lamented about gun school violence, and how troubling it was that a woman was denied what he termed "reproductive healthcare"; which seems to be an attempt to use language to normalize abortion procedures. Jeff made further euphemisms towards the Republican candidates up for election in the state of North Carolina, and termed this presidential election, the most consequential in the history of our nation, parroting the echo chamber of leftist and mainstream media that has been pounding this drum for the last four years or more.
