Even with a steady flow of travelers, the airport feels organized, comfortable, and easy to get around. Before our flight, we stopped at Lark Creek Grill, and it was an excellent choice. The food was fresh and delicious, the service was friendly and attentive, and it was the perfect place to relax before boarding. Just be prepared--it's definitely not cheap. Like many airport restaurants, you'll pay a premium, but the quality of the food, service, and overall experience made it worth it. I also love that SFO features outstanding local Bay Area restaurants instead of the typical airport chain options--it gives the airport a much more authentic feel. There was no clear explanation or attempt to resolve the issue. It honestly left me wondering: was I expected to leave one of my animals behind at the airport? What was even worse was the complete lack of professionalism. In addition to her dismissive attitude, she and another attendant were seen laughing about the situation, as shown in the video. It was public, unnecessary, and deeply humiliating. This is a paid service, and basic respect and professionalism should be the minimum standard which was clearly not the case. The TSA staff at the security checkpoint entrance gave little to no guidance and instead had that "come on..." look when I didn't immediately know what to do. It wasn't helpful at all, especially when traveling with really young kids, which already makes flying stressful. A few clear signs or better communication would go a long way. I walked by the bathroom near Gates 15 and 16, and it looked run down and dirty. It definitely didn't leave a good impression. On the positive side, there are plenty of restaurants and small newsstands throughout Terminals A and B. I know because my airline check-in was in Terminal B, but my flight departed from Terminal A, so I ended up taking an unexpected tour of the airport. As expected, the prices at the newsstands were expensive, but that's fairly typical for airports. Driving into SJC wasn't a great experience either. The road signs were confusing, and there were too many lane merges and last-minute lane changes, making it more stressful than it needed to be, especially for first-time visitors.

That's because we like to fly Delta, specifically non-stop between Atlanta and SFO; most ATL-SFO flights arrive at and depart from the C gates in Terminal 1. This terminal is fine. The terminals at SFO have the following gates: Terminal 1: B and C gates Terminal 2: D gates Terminal 3: E and F gates International Terminal: A and G gates The Delta Sky Club here in Terminal 1 (next to Gate C3) is good, not great, though keep in mind SFO is not a Delta hub (it's a United hub). I don't recall ever having an issue with security here. On our last trip through Terminal 1 earlier this month, we used CLEAR+ with TSA PreCheck and got through very fast (a few minutes).

I felt that if that person wants to be treated inclusively and respectfully for the person's gender preference the person should treat others with the same understanding the person wants. To go convenience food costs the same as sit down entrees. Crazy. I did appreciate the shoe shine guy and the choice of gender neutral and male or female bathrooms. This way no one is forced to be uncomfortable. The walk is long to the terminals and security was cramped. Their configuration is not conducive to many people as it bottlenecks.
