Coventry Building Society has recently had a revamp and reorganisation and is better for it. Never massively busy there are quite a few counters and usually no less than three staff managing them, if you do have to queue its not for very long at all. The staff are really nice and patient and will take the time to explain things to you in depth.
You can make private appointments for mortgages etc with a knowledgeable advisor and can have this in a private office away from the general public. Centrally located in Banbury on the high street and with opening hours until after lunch on a Saturday it's a really handy place to bank without worrying about immense queues. read more
