I expressed that it was hurting, but the phlebotomist decided to wiggle the needle aggressively. I almost passed out and a second attempt was performed without escalation to a more experienced staff member. As of 3/2/26, I am still experiencing pain and functional limitations in my hand and arm that have required ongoing medical care. I have attempted several times, using multiple methods, to inform Labcorp of this issue but have not received any response. I am sharing this to highlight the importance of listening to patient feedback, proper supervision, and escalation protocols for new staff to ensure patient safety.

Debra, the phlebotomist, hit my difficult vein on the first try, it was almost painless, she did an excellent job. I mentioned to her that I usually end up with a 2 inch bruise so she placed a flexible wrap around my elbow. I do not see a bruise this afternoon.

But I haven't found any other doctors who can give me a second opinion on the tests. I went to my GP and they said that the test was done in a way that could not be interpreted by Western medicine. I am not sure what rating to give them until I do more research. But they don't take insurance. I paid a fortune for the exam. I don't know whether to trust them or not.
