When I replaced a vehicle on my policy, my agent told me that if my son added a life insurance policy, we would receive an additional discount and my total bill would only be about $20 more per month than what I was currently paying. That information turned out to be inaccurate. Instead, I was later hit with a bill for over $700 per month for two vehicles and life insurance -- which is more than our actual car payments. I feel I was misled, and this situation caused unnecessary stress. I also requested to speak directly with the agent owner to address this matter, but there was no follow-up or communication, which was extremely disappointing and unprofessional. My advice to others: get everything in writing, including detailed quotes and confirmations, so you are not blindsided later. Do not rely solely on verbal assurances. It is not a privacy violation to leave your name, phone number and nature of call. I would not use them to if they were the last insurance company on earth. What type of company, who is trying to get your business, does not leave a message, and then, tries to defend their actions. Go elsewhere. I sent a notification to the agent to cancel my policy in which they didn't do in a timely manner so I was charged for the next 2 months even after telling the agent that I was being charged when I specifically asked that the policy is cancelled. I kept getting the runaround. First I was told their accountant would cut me a check. Next, I had to fill out audit papers detailing how much my business made for the year even though I didn't have them for the whole year. I have no problem being audited which is their excuse is that I have to be audited to get back my money that was wrongfully taken out of my account. I am still trying to get my money returned now that it is April. All this began in December. I wouldn't trust this company because they will say and do whatever to not take responsibility or refund my money.
