as physically assaulted in the Duncan location today. Went in to return glasses that I said from…read morethe first day that everything was blurry. Told them it is either the wrong prescription or the makers put the wrong one in, because there was no way that I could read anything with them. They tried to accuse me of it being "ME" the reason I could not see out of them and that was not looking out of them properly. From day one I said I could not see out of them. They wanted to charge me OVER $100 for a handling fee, even when i said from day one while I was still in the store, that I could not read out of them. On that first day picking them up, the manager Erin, urged me multiple times to give them a chance for 2 weeks then i could return them if needed. She kept saying that all people have trouble at first. I had an instant headache. I gave her the benefit of the doubt, BUT at NO TIME did she say there would be a charge if they didn't work.. I was reluctant to take them because I was worried I would be out $897.00 if they didn't work, and they wee already soooooo bad. So when she said I could bring them back, I decided to try them. Then today I came to bring them back and while talking and explaining WHY I didn't think I deserved to have to pay this fee, and she was arguing with me and talking to me like a 5 year old, I pointed at the chair I sat in two weeks prior, to remind her that "I sat right in that chair and said I could not read or see right, and that it was blurrier with the glasses on than off". the office manager grabbed my hand, dug her fingernails in and pushed my hand down quite forcibly and said don't point at me. She was obviously NOT listening to me because WHY WOULD I POINT AT HER AND SAY, "I SAT RIGHT IN THAT CHAIR....." I was pointing past her, to the right of her, at the chair, WHICH I repeated 3 times!! When asked to speak with the owner, Dr. Trevor Miranda, he smirked at me with a half grin, and said " and what would you like me to do about it?" He never once asked if I was ok, or understand my frustration or offer an apology. He never saw it happen but two others and a customer did, and yet he couldn't even say "i'm sorry that you were treated this way"....he made ME feel like I WAS BEING REPRIMANDED!!! , and he said there is a video, which was unwilling to share. Anyways, NO apology, nothing!!!!! HE did not care that his office manager just assaulted a customer!! SO BEWARE people, you could be assaulted and there are no warnings about this fee!! There was no telling me BEFORE she kept PUSHING the WRONG glasses on me, she just didn't care. There was nothing on my receipt either. ALSO, when I first got the glasses, I was sat down, a piece of paper put in front of me and explained which ones I needed, and told that some were better than others. This WAS MY ONLY OPTION GIVEN TO ME. Then when I went to pick the glasses up, I asked this office manager to why I could not get a different kind of reader or contacts or something and she said that I could have but these glasses are what I chose. WRONG! I was NOT given ANY other option....NONE!!!!!! I was shown that piece of paper for 3 different quality type lenses, that is ALL!!
