When I called to address the issue, I spoke with the manager, Craig, who refused to let me speak and gave me a long-winded response about how much he cares about his job instead of addressing the real problem. When I asked for a clear yes or no about refunding my money, he dodged the question repeatedly. He also refused to provide contact information to the person he reports to. Only after I mentioned calling corporate did he offer a partial refund, insisting that I was at fault for not noticing the overcharges sooner. He also tried to justify the late fees as "processing charges" that the gym supposedly doesn't profit from--yet they continued to bill me incorrectly despite having valid payment methods on file. This gym's billing practices feel like a scam to rack up unnecessary late fees, and the lack of accountability from management is unacceptable. I will never return to this location and strongly suggest others be cautious when dealing with their membership fees.

This is not a place where the instructor will yell at you, or get in your face, if you're going slower than others. It is a place to learn proper form, at your own pace, and meet some great people! Jennifer will actually encourage you to slow down to perfect your form. If you have been nervous about starting an exercise routine, this is an excellent place to start! It is priced very reasonably for what you get, great workouts with a trainer who is monitoring form and watching for signs that you're over-exerting yourself, and won't judge your weaknesses. In addition, the people who workout here are not judgmental, and are welcoming of new members. One of the scariest parts of going to a gym to workout is the fear of what others will think or say, but the atmosphere of SWEATS is one of positivity and celebrating each other's accomplishments (even the small ones)!

She strung me along and yeah yeahed me repeating over and over her self assured insistence that I was not following the rules and therefore she was helpless to do the decent thing and cancel the membership. Contemptible behavior. She assured me after I was no longer bound by contract I was month to month and could cancel. She later admitted to me after that she was not responsible for my lack of understanding of the contract I had signed essentially admitting she could care less about my circumstances after taking a hit to my income and customer service was not her responsibility. Absolutely contemptuous. When I told her she was disingenuous and a liar she threatened to call the police on me for coming in to her office to 'bully her' and 'scream' at her. She continued to interrupt and talk over me with excuses and excuses, she characterized the exchange as being hostile after I raised my voice when she continued to talk over me. Absolute reprehensible behavior. Over the course of a year, at 60 dollars a month, and 43 dollar 'annual fees' (charged more than once per year, and with bank overdraft fees caused by the repeated payments outside of my budget, these greedy and irresponsible people cost me over a thousand dollars. Do your self a favor and find another place. Look at the other reviews, this 'business' is aware of this and continues to operate with no repercussions for their actions. This is clearly a case of family/friend working together and is despicable behavior given they are veiling a known loophole or whatever to exercise leverage when this very situation repeats itself, they waste your time under the pretext you are 'failing to follow the rules,', with a sad cycnical assumption you are a bad actor simply complicating a simple process. They have been taken through litigation and still after years they are operating under abc fitness protection hiding behind a 'contract' Places like this are what there are laws for. The feel of the gym is not like the commercial feel like your la fitness or fitness connection which is why I gravitated to this place! We were able to meet the owner and he was super nice and thanked us for coming in to check it out. Day passes are available on the website and various memberships such as annual or monthly. I've also heard they have a weekend only membership but it doesn't look like that is advertised. Personal training is also an option on their site!
