Went to the Cox emergency room this evening with appendicitis sit there and cried for 3 hours before they ever even came in to see me and then the doctor walked in and wanted to know when the last time I used was I don't use anything illegal but the doctor treated me like I was there for drugs I told him to stick his drugs up his ass when the first thing you say to someone is when is the last time you used and they already drew blood so they can test it something is extremely wrong with this hospital I've only been to Cox emergency apartment twice both times was absolutely horrible I wouldn't recommend anybody take their dog there they told me my temperature when I got there was 98.9 I took my temperature 15 minutes before I left to go there it was 102.3 and after walking out I came home and took my temperature again and it's 102.5 but nowhere else to be seen so hopefully I make it through tomorrow and my appendix doesn't bust if it does I hope my kids get rich I have never ever been treated like that in my life read more

Have been a patient of Jeremy Mabe for many years but will have to find a new doc. Had two strokes last year and thought I would be a priority patient. Couple months ago, had brood drawn and have yet to hear from the clinic! Called and left messages several times - still no return call. Wish Mercy had a hospital and doctors here. Several times I have called and waited for more than three minutes and no answer. Wish I could leave less than one star. read more

My roommate and I contacted cox health directconnect 2-18 for a virtual doctor visit by webcam. We both needed to be seen. The woman he talked to immediately said it was a virus and blew him off. She would not listen. She told him to buy something over-the-counter. I plead with her and again she would not listen.We have an upper respiratory infection (bacterial infection)that could have been treated with an antibiotic.I paid for the service for him.No wonder people are dying this winter, when health care providers tell you to suffer it out.Every sick person is not a virus! Some people have upper respiratory infections.This service is supposed to be for getting assistance from home, so you don't infect more people. My chest and ribs are tight. His hands were shaking/trembling. How dare this woman play with our life!!! read more

I am traveling from Florida and ended up in CoxHealth to have my gallbladder removed. I can't say enough how thankful I am for the kind care I was given. Dr. John J. Moll was an excellent surgeon with a wonderful bedside manner. We are full-time campers and I can only pray for this type of care in other parts of the country. Beth Knox FNP has been my general practitioner for about eight years. She is a kind and competent health care provider. She has been able to help me with chronic type problems. I am a retired health care practitioner, so I can be opinionated. She works well with me. I feel she will always be there for me, when I really need help. Over the last four years I have had so many issues with CoxHealth Branson. Numerous times I have been billed for procedures or tests that I had without consent from me or I never got. The latest issue was I went to an appointment with a physician (not at the Outpatient Center). I originally denied a service from my physician until the assistants tols me the procedure would be affordable and less than $100 total. So, I went ahead and go the procedure because of the information I was given. A week or two later I received 2 bills one was my copay for my physician visit (which i was expecting) the second was from the Outpatient Center saying that the procedure I got done that I was swayed into getting, and the one that was supposed to be under $100 was actually $600+ (my insurance covered a lot of it, but It still said I owed $200). I called and got a review on the bill and tried to dispute it only to recieve a call back a week later that "you should have never been quoted a price for the procedure they are not allowed to do that, but you will still have to pay the $200. All that being said I will NEVER step foot in a CoxHealth again. They are taking advantage of their Monopoly here in Branson and they are very greedy. I would recommend anyone who needed to see a doctor, go to Urgent Care or Hospital go to Mercy. Thank goodness they are expanding into Branson. They already have many doctors offices and an Urgent Care up and running. I am only giving 1 star because they won't allow my to put a 0. read more

Coxhealth Center has been our primary healthcare facility for 10 months, and husband has been admitted to emergency room multiple times and hospital twice. We found that their mobile units for monitoring blood pressure were not accurately calibrated, but we were very impressed (with one exception noted below) with the professionalism and knowledge of their physicians and management teams. The majority of phlebotomists and other staff who administer minor procedures and tests do NOT seem to be sufficiently trained, and they struggle with their jobs -- often to the point where a supervisor must be called to assist them. The exception is Dr. Moll, who we consulted with twice. On our first visit, he seemed to us to be dismissive, anxious to be on to his next patient, and not forthcoming with information. He did not explain consequences of already completed medical test results in a manner that let us understand what the next steps might be, but instead just left and had his nurse (a wonderful woman named Darlene) come in and tell us he had scheduled more tests. With Darlene's help and explanations, we spent two months completing the additional tests and returned to consult with Dr. Moll about the results. His demeanor was terrible. He did not tell us any of the test results, and with regard to one of the tests he said a tube had doubled back on itself and gave no readings. He suggested that our case was too complicated and that we would have to travel to Kansas City (several hours away) and start all over with a new doctor and new tests. When we asked why the next doctor would not be able to use all the tests already completed and paid for at Cox, Dr. Moll said we were "ungrateful", were "accusing" him of stealing our money. He said he was "worn out" with us and was done helping us, then stood up and abruptly left the room. I know there are people who exaggerate and blow things out of proportion when they write reviews like this, but I am a certified court mediator and am not given to extreme reactions. Dr. Moll's reaction was not, in my opinion, provoked in any substantial way, and it was a situation where there was normal patient stress and questions that needed to be dealt with. The treatment we received from Dr. Moll was of no help whatsoever and was, in my opinion, reprehensible. read more
