The truck bed was not washed down prior to the welding so there is dirt in the welds and there are also holes in the welds. I usually…read moretake my wire to TKC on Cushman but once in a while the boys will take the wire to Glendale Metal Company. On our last trip in May to Glendale Metal, we only received .30 cents a pound for our network wiring (Category 5, 5E, and 4C Copper Wire. The price goes up and down but at the time it was worth about $1.30 per pound. We had 229 LB @ 1.30 should have yielded about $300 but instead got only $69 which isn't worth the effort to recycle. My Technician called me while still on site and I sent him back in as this has happened before with price. They weren't successful in getting anymore money and was told .30 was the going rate. Before I write any reviews, I like to give the companies time to reply and I sent an e mail to admin@glendalemetals.com and received no reply. I then sent an e mail to their other company admin@marinerecycling.ca and again received no reply. I wouldn't recommend taking your copper wire to Glendale only to get shortchanged. Maybe if they responded to customer concerns, I wouldn't have to post a negative review.

I've been a customer of theirs for years and due to a number late, albeit paid (with late fee…read moreincluded) payments, they decided to end their service to my house. No warning, no discussion. Last year, prior to putting my Awning up, they would not release it until I paid $260 for alleged repair with " new stitching" that they say was not available when they made the awning. this was also a nonnegotiable. There was no evidence (such as leaking or fraying) that it needed to be done, but I could not get the Awning put up unless I agreed to it. There have been numerous other small problems over the years as well. I guess they have enough business to cut customers off with no discussion. It would be helpful to customers if their billing process was easier and they offered automated payments. It seems a business practice of ending business relationships with no discussion will only last so long. I would say stay clear of Custom Covers & Canvas!
