We came in on Friday night, 8/22, to celebrate my mom's birthday and have a great time with our family, but unfortunately, we ended up getting kicked out of Coyote Ugly. Darnisha, the security guard, yelled at and grabbed my girlfriend by the arm because she went behind the rope to give a tip to the dancer. She genuinely didn't know she wasn't allowed to, and I feel she could have shown some compassion before yelling and grabbing her. Shortly after, my mom also went under the rope because she didn't know, and Darnisha yelled at her as well. Later in the night, someone in our group stood on the stool--not on the chair--and Darnisha came over yelling at him to sit down. She pointed at my girlfriend and mom and said, "I already told them to behave, and now him. That's how you get kicked out." Understandably, we were frustrated and started venting among ourselves about how we were being treated. Darnisha then kicked our entire group out. We were having a great time celebrating my mom's birthday, and unfortunately, Darnisha completely ruined the experience for us. The club was spinning some engaging tunes and scantily dressed women were dancing on top of the bar. The bar is eclectic with many stickers and wall art. The upbeat atmosphere makes you feel like you are at a party from start to finish. Drinks were reasonably priced for the Strip. We went here looking for a fun place to dance after seeing a show. Upon arrival we were greeted by stricter security than TSA who were not friendly. Expect to pay a cover charge of $10 per person, even for a group of all ladies. My friend's mom had a plastic bag that she was using the carry souvenir pictures, they told her she couldn't bring the bag in? Once inside we discovered a nearly empty bar where we went to the bartender to get drinks. I asked her if they carry any N/A beers (I'm pregnant) and she said ya. That's it. Very odd customer service for someone who relies on tips. Maybe explaining your beer choices when someone inquires would be helpful as there is no menu and no posted list. Finally, clearly it is more of a country vibe at this bar which is totally fine. Our friend whose birthday we were celebrating is more of a club music type of gal. She approached the DJ and asked if he could play something along those lines... he told her no because it wasn't the vibe. Understood. But then proceeded to play hip hop the rest of our time there. The girls dancing and directing the crowd were fun and engaging. At the end of the day, being treated like they didn't even want you there after paying a cover charge was off putting. We really wanted to enjoy the spot, but it just didn't quite meet the standard we were expecting. There was nothing wrong with the service or bartenders. The girl who ultimately made our drinks did an amazing job. We also were able to catch their happy hour so our drinks we're very cheap especially being on the strip. Since we got there as early as we did, there really wasn't many other people in the spot. We were also informed the music and dancing doesn't really begin until 9:30 PM. As well sometimes they will close early if the place isn't with a lot of activity. we ultimately did come back to the spot the next day close to 2 AM. We had saw online that they close at three, but when we got there, they mentioned that we have five more minutes to place a drink order and that they would be closing. It was completely dead in there. Just as dead as when we first went there the previous day. I know the main strip is kind of dying when it comes to these kind of activities. A lot more people hang out outside of the strip or there's just not as many visitors like in the past. Due to all this, I have to give it only four stars. I would love to see how the spot is when it's a lot more lively. I will mention that they do not have their own restrooms in there. That could be a big turn off for a lot of folks. You would need to exit The bar and use the public bathrooms that New York New York provide. read more

I brought my daughters to Coyote Ugly in Las Vegas and had a blast!! The girls working there are all so kind and treated my daughter, Jenna with Down Syndrome, with kindness and respect!! I was able to connect with the manager, Karla, the evening before going. She had a table set up for us with shorter chairs where it was easier for Jenna to sit in and she was up dancing on the platform and had a terrific time! He continued to say these threats and when we told the manager, he accused us of just trying to get free drinks and ultimately told us to leave. It's unfortunate I had a PWB (Partying While Black) moment. I didn't realize there was no vaping inside the establishment because I saw at least a group of 6 white people vaping. I figured it wasn't off limits until the security with the messed indented nose of a forehead walked straight past the group that was vaping in the moment came straight to me and kicked me out for vaping, however they weren't told to leave or got kicked out like I did. I told him they're vaping, too. LOOK. Still got told that I was done for the night, but not them. No one cared and turned a blind eye. RUN THAT CAMERA BACK!
