I've been using a CPAP machine religiously since 1991 and had be using another major Canadian supplier for machine upgrades and accessories until now. My father-in-law recently had a sleep study and went to the CPAP Clinic at the Sheppard & Leslie location for follow-up, with great results. It prompted me to try these guys out, but at the Vaughan location, which is closer to my work. I'm happy to say that I had a really good experience with both Oscar (who provided the initial consultation) and with the follow-up service from another woman (sorry, I forgot her name). I ended up purchasing a new machine (the Philips-Respironics DreamStation Expert Auto-CPAP) and mask. Oscar gave me a bunch of different mask options to try out at home, as a replacement for my older (now discontinued) mask. I was really skeptical about changing to a newer mask design. But really happy with the upgrade. I ended up purchasing the ResMed Airfit P30i Nasal Pillow Mask - awesome new design and so comfortable and quiet. In all, the experience at CPAP Clinic was excellent. The selection of options is plentiful. The healthcare consultants are very knowledgeable and generous with their time. What more can you ask for? Great experience purchasing my CPAP Machine at Vaughan location. Friendly, helpful and the price is right. My sleep doctor had set me up to get my machine at different sleeping supplies store. when I contacted them, they told me CPAP machines were all back ordered (Global shortage) and that they would call me when they come in. I waited 5 months and they still had not contacted me. Then a friend told me about this CPAP Clinic in Vaughan. I went there and they confirmed that there is a Global shortage, but said they would lend me one of theirs for me to use (for free) until machines start coming in. Right there I knew they had my best interest in mind, especially comparing it to the other sleeping supplies store. I used the loaner for 10 months and machines finally came in. I went to CPAP clinic at Millway Ave. to check the latest results off my CPAP machine. Everything was OK, only my mask was leaking more than it should. It was suggested to me to try a full face mask for a week. Unfortunately I had big trouble to sleep with full face mask, so after three days I have changed the pillow at my nasal mask and a follow up meeting with very friendly staff showed that it was a better choice due to better results. I also got some valuable advices and I am fine now. At that time I did not have to make any purchases, but later I will have to. I have had the majority of my experiences purchasing CPAP supplies recently from the CPAP Clinic store at 1110 Sheppard Ave, Unit #13 in North York. Presently the items I have purchased have been smaller items such as replacement masks, headsets or hoses and I am very happy with the customer service that I have received from Jennifer Sue. She also has been helpful in letting me know of any promotions that are being given or answering questions that I have on other products within the store. I am on a trial with the CPAP clinic and they have been amazing. They are very helpful with any questions and problems and seem to want to help make your experience the best for you personally. They brought out several masks for me to try (unlike the previous company I first went on a trial with) and I was very surprised to find a mask that seems to work better for me than the one I'd researched. I'm very sure I'll be sticking with this company long term and be buying my equipment from them too. And their costs are upfront; no hidden prices like all the others. They were very helpful and informative. Did all the insurance work (although they aren't equipped to do this for every insurance provider - I have green shield). They were the cheapest place I looked at. Literally ended up being 500 dollars cheaper than the place my doctor recommended. I think i dealt with an RT named Meredith. This was also great because dealing with a trained professional made it easy to answer my questions (not every place has trained professionals... some places just have employees that take a course form manufacturer). I am writing this review on behalf of my 89-year old father who has recently been diagnosed with severe sleep apnea. After having looked around for a CPAP provider closer to home, we decided to go with this clinic. Juli is super nice, caring, very pleasant to deal with, and above all very concerned about explaining everything there is to know about CPAP therapy in simple to understand English, whether it is taking the time to find the right mask that fits properly, and the right CPAP machine that works best for my father. We have been less than satisfied with our local CPAP clinic here in Parry Sound, so at the recommendations of a friend, we decided to drive to Barrie to the clinic there, and found a very helpful staff who could provide a new mask at a much better price, and also explained things to us so we could better understand the whole situation. We left that office with NO questions unanswered, and subsequently requested that office to monitor the usage, etc. and give us progress reports. I visited the Barrie location and I was blown away by the helpfulness, compassion, and patience of June. I just showed up expecting to pay a fortune out of pocket for a machine. I had no idea I was supposed to book an appointment, but June made time to help me anyway. They let me rent a machine for a month to see if it works for me instead of paying $1,200 for a new model. I believe that one of the most important part of a CPAP system is the mask. It must be comfortable to suit the face of the user, be fairly leak tight, not obstructing the air flow, easy to take apart and reassemble for cleaning, and durable. Jenifer, the CPAP specialist at Sheppard's location, was very helpful.
