The material is explained in a way that it's retainable. No extra nonsense. The video portion was about 30-40 mins and the skills portion was about 15 mins. I paid $50 for the BLS which is needed for healthcare providers. By the end of the night, I received my BLS E card - good for 2 years from the date you take the course.. I used to recommend this place to others for all of the classes they offer and the friendliness of…read morethe teaching staff. The billing practices is a nightmare. They were extremely nice when I bought the membership but when I canceled they were rude and made the process difficult and less than pleasant. They informed me that I was behind a few payments as my card had expired and said they tried to email me to let me know. I searched my inbox and junk mail folder and saw NO SUCH EMAILS. They also never called me to let me know. In order to cancel the membership I had to do so in writing. Not over the phone or by email. The manager said I could mail it in. Since I tried to cancel my membership months ago without success as no one answered the phone or returned my call after many voicemails; I just wanted this tedious business over with. I asked if I could scan a handwritten letter and email it. The manager said this was fine but that I wouldn't be able to pay until the next day as she was leaving the office. Fast forward to today and I called to pay what I owed and to AGAIN confirm that my membership would be canceled. This whole experience just left a bad taste in my mouth. This is how they treat someone that's been a member for 3 YEARS!
