I don't know where to even start. So I'll start from walking in.. They immediately greet you at the door with all smiles and genuinely friendly. Anita was incredible, she's a genuinely nice person, (which is rare) and set all my classes quick and to where I knocked them all out the first go. Always asking if anyone needed anything else to help get them to the next part in obtaining this CDL. (She's amazing.. All there is). CHICKEN N' GRAVY Now moving on to the Ms Bea (The Queen Bee herself). This woman has true super powers. She makes it all work and fit in where it needs to. She's there working her magic in your favor and playing maestro with schedules and times to benefit YOU. She pulled out some miracles for me that's for sure. Definitely in her debt Now last but definitely not least. Is the one.. the only.. PABLO. Talk about dedication and loyalty, then you cant have anyone else train you to drive. He will work on what YOU need and What YOU aren't able to do. Trains you and teaches you as a friend would, not a step parent. His ways of teaching are nearly flawless. Do as he says and you're guaranteed to pass. If you don't get something then just speak up. (I know I did) He'll break it down where you do get it. So what all this means.. If you want your CDL. Go to this school. Anita will set you up to knock down your classes like you're a pro bowler. You've got the magical Queen Bea behind your back making it all fall in place like Tetris. Then you've got a coach who will practice himself to make sure what he teaches you is flawless. A COACH WHO WONT LET YOU FAIL... WHAT ELSE CAN YOU ASK FOR OTHER THAN THOSE THREE ON YOUR TEAM.. I got mine! Now go get yours!

Thankfully we had a good experience. My daughter took the adult classes. She had no driving…read moreexperience and I felt it was too stressful to teach her myself. Her instructor Mr. Guzman was very patient, he put her at ease and made her feel comfortable. A big plus is that she got to take her driving test with the school and was already familiar with the testing route they used in proximity to their office. I would recommend you schedule a appt with DMV to get your learners permit before you take the class. Appointments are 2-3 months out. After you take the in person class, the same day you get your learners permit at DMV, go home and schedule an appointment to get your license right away. That way after driving lessons and test you already have a appointment set up to turn in passing results of driving test and get driving license.

I enrolled my granddaughter at the S. Gevers location. After all, for me that was the most important part, having a professional get her comfortable with on the road driving. When she finished classroom, I asked when she would begin in car. TWO MONTHS after finishing classroom was her first opportunity. I was also told she would get ONE 2 hour in car training per month for the next SIX months! The reason: they are busy and have a lot of students. My suggestion is avoid this place for your teen. I should also mention that they are so busy her first 2 hour in car will be only ONE hour. After all, they are busy......

He was okay in the classroom but his demeanor on the course was lacking in professionalism. He had no reservation yelling and swearing (including lots of f-bombs) at the riders anytime instructions weren't followed precisely. I came to learn through practice but any deviation was treated like a personal insult to him. Perhaps he had personal issues at the time but that doesn't excuse his behavior. I broke my left lateral tibia (leg) on the 2nd day. Ian has no medical expertise yet told me that it was just a sprain and to resume riding. Good thing I knew better. Oddly, the bright side was that I didn't have to complete the 2nd day with him yelling and cursing at me. I told Ian about my broken leg when I returned to pick up my husband. I also contacted the owner a few days later but other than a short game of phone tag (we never spoke) there was no reaching out to me in follow-up. My leg is now healed, summer's heat has passed, and I am going to look for a different school. Based on other positive reviews, this school deserves a bit of your consideration. If you choose to use them I recommend that you call to see which instructor will be teaching your class. Reschedule if it's Ian. I typically only like to add positive reviews but I feel that my experience should be shared.

It is extremely rare for me to give a one-star reviews to any kind of business, but unfortunately…read moreMustard Seed Academy earned that this year. So to give some backstory about my experience here, I enrolled my kid since he was 14-15 months (I think that was the earliest you could enroll a kid back then) so he started at the school very young. At the beginning we really enjoyed our time there. The teachers were absolutely wonderful but there was always a kind of hostility coming from the owners that I decided to ignore because it was not affecting me. However, as the years went by and my kid started to grow we realized he had a learning disability and was most likely under the spectrum. I tried to keep open communication with the school about all the testing we were doing and recommendations from his pediatrician and therapist, just so we could all be on the same page and support him. With that being said, I KNOW my kid wasn't the easiest to handle because he needed more attention and patience than other kids. So here is where MSA failed me and my family. At the beginning of this year my husband was deployed out of the country. The school always pride themselves of supporting military families so as such, I let them know of what was happening in our household and the date that my husband would be leaving. The day after he left, they called me to give me a one month ultimatum that my kid either had to be potty trained or he was out of the school. Long story short, I talked to them in person and asked them "do you all were aware that my husband had just been deployed and you called me the next day to give me a one month ultimatum?" and they said "yes". How in this world can they say they support military families when they act like that? On top of that, the potty training was just an excuse to get rid of my son because they did not know how to work with him. I would've preferred if they admitted that my son would be better at a different school and give me enough time to search for one, instead of giving me a month to figure all this out on my own. Also, I was able to potty trained my kid in that month they gave me, but because he was still having accidents, then he couldn't stay which obviously was a reflection of their lie and excuse. Long story short, the owners here DO NOT care about the kids. Your kid will only be another number in their list and will happily get rid of your kid if it causes them any kind of inconvenience. Besides my issue, so many other things happened this year at that school that were highly concerning, so definitely do your research before you try to enroll your kid here.
