I was there with one other person for the class. I had a great experience and I feel confident with the instruction I received. The training was concise (more than 2 hours I didn't really keep track of time), a lot shorter than what I heard about CPR classes (5 hours). We also connected on a deeper level because we shared stories about our medical past. We are all survivors of something. The class was started on time because she wanted to respect our effort of showing up on time on a Sunday. Much appreciated. Side note to you know who you are: Don't go complaining to the receptionist who pics up the phone that you arrived at 9:50 am for the 10 o' clock class and the place was locked and no one let you in. Yes it was locked but I was sitting outside on the bench and walked towards the building at 9:48, I was talking to another attendee for at least 5 min before we were let in. We didn't even start until 10:05 because Kristine was waiting for any "stragglers." You were not there at 9:50, unless you have the invisibility cloak and decided not to step in when the door was opened. Don't lie, own up to your .... No one respects people like you. Location was a little confusing (took class same day as review), however it does have a GIANT 1524 on it so you can't miss that. It is the Spectrum building with the Dental Laboratories on the front. And NO the reception desk is not associated with Safety First CPR. Unless you're the scarecrow from The Wizard of Oz, who doesn't have a brain, you can figure out that the building does not belong to them and they lease a room. I was texted the address by the receptionist and didn't receive any other correspondence. I was supposed to receive an invoice and notification but that never happened. So I decided what the heck and showed up anyways. Worked out in the end. (-1 star for the receptionist)

The instructor got everyone involved engaged and explained every questions everyone had. I was surprised with so much information being taught, the instructor broken the training into smaller segments and made it easy to understand. They have the latest and best manikins with light indicators to help you know how much pressure you need to push in order to perform the correct chest compression. From performing CPR on an adult, child and small infants. I now know what to do and the correct way to do it in case of an emergency. Not only knowing how to help others but also how to protecting yourself while helping. I highly recommend Safety First CPR for anyone that needs training in CPR, First Aid and AED certification!

I was SO glad to see her as my instructor 2 years down the road and she hasn't changed a bit. She was funny and quirky and even another elderly student was laughing out loud. One major change to address: American Heart Association has updated their rules and regulations around April of 2016 so although some of the material was new, most of it was from what I could remember. Okay back to taking this course, Anabey was the great instructor she was as per usual (Read my review from 2 years ago), I forgot to note how she gives so many tips on becoming a great nurse so those of you who are going to do Nursing I recommend her, you will get some good tips! Another thing I noticed was that they give a certificate to verify that you passed this course immediately, which was helpful in so many ways (especially those of you who like to procrastinate aka me). After explaining the situation and giving my info, I was told I was on the list and that i could pay cash the day of the class. When I arrived to the building for the class, it took me about 5 minutes to find the office because the receptionist was missing. After knocking on the door and calling for about 25mins (hours online and sign on the door indicate they are open at 9am- not the case), I receive a text from the "business number" and was told that there were no classes that day because nobody registered. I asked to speak to somebody and she told me she would call me at noon "after her meeting". I never received a call and missed a day of work! Called CodeBlueCPR, explained the situation and they scheduled me for a class next day.
