I went in because my phone stopped charging. They were really friendly and quick to ask what they could help me with. I told them what was going on, one of the techs took my phone and went to the back. He came back a few minutes later and said that should fix it, when I asked how much I owed him he said nothing. My 3 year old boy tossed my IPad like a ball onto the hardwood floor... yup shattered screen! I took it in the next day and was told it would be done the next day. Awesome! I went in the next before they closed and I assume it was the owner but it was the best service I've ever received! He asked me if I had a cover for the IPad and I said I did not... he said follow me... he proceeded to give me a extremely nice cover that he had in his car... he did not have to do this and I offered to pay for it obviously but he said no thank you... he mentioned he had kids and knows the importance of a cover. Came to the guys at screen spot to fix a simple shattered screen. LCD was functional and digitizer was unresponsive. As soon as they handed the phone back to us we informed them that the phone had not been repaired correctly and was acting up. The phone was not performing correctly from the moment it was handed to us. Right when we got it. They said they didn't have any other appointment times for the day and to come back again. It was my sisters phone and once she got done moving into college and her first week, we came back. Apparently there was only a 14 day warranty which was not explained to us and we would have to pay to have it repaired again. So we were having to pay double for a botched repair done by them. The employee handed the phone back to my sister and said,"come back again if you need to," and walked back to the back without another word. Disrespectful. read more

Atrocious behavior, uneducated, and extremely subpar customer service. Brought in a working item that needed a 10 minute repair tops, and who would've guessed, their 'repair' ruined my item. THEN had the audacity to blame me, when in reality, they should have made the single repair I asked. I Instead, it took 4 days to get my item back. Stories do not match up, and even when you catch employees lying, it doesn't matter. I can't say that I have ever been so disappointed in a business. Tip for the future guys: I said my item worked, and know 100% that it did. Companys says absolutely not. Maybe in the future, check items with the customer beforehand (in this case, maybe plug into a tv) so your employees can see EXACTLY how it works before they touch it and break it. Hindsight though. I have a five year old I-6s, and had a cracked screen and needed a battery, I figured I was going to have to make an appointment for the next day at the Apple store, and then have a fist fight with the Apple reps to have it fixed as opposed to buying a new $1000plus phone. CPR in Festus fixed me up for about a hundred bucks, in about an hour, and I would recommend them to anyone. Some two weeks later, I was having a charging problem, and thought the battery was bad, but they diagnosed it as a probable bad cord, sold me one for about ten bucks, and I was back in business. This place is awful DO NOT GO HERE TO GET YOUR PHONE FIXED I cannot stress this enough if you bring your phone here to get the screen replaced you will get your phone back with all sorts of internal issues and they will refuse to fix it we have been in and out of there at least 7 times with them saying they were going to fix the issues that they caused and get it back and it's the exact same THEY WOULDN'T REFUND US they gave the option of them buying the phone for 180 when it's a at least 300 dollar phone or keeping the phone and getting 0 money back when we paid 180 to get the screen fixed that messed everything up they are a big ole scam so unless you want to be out money don't go here and they also have awful costumer service especially the lady. read more

GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE Went in to get my son's smashed and bent iPhone repaired. Service man was very honest with me on the cost to repair the phone and that once it was open there could be even more damage. Although he would love my business he would recommend me spending my $350 at the Apple Store for a brand new phone with a warranty. My son had an iPhone 5 he wanted to use as a replacement that was "Disabled", the gentleman took the phone and reset it so it could be used while waiting for a new phone. He also took the time to go online to make an appointment with the Apple Store for us. All the extra steps to help us that he did not have to do. Do not get your phone screen fixed here !!!!! My phone screen went out so i came here to have it replaced. The next day i pick it up and then realize they didn't give me my phone case back. So i have to come back the next day to pick up the case. Once i picked up the phone though i realized my face id wasn't working anymore, the back camera wouldn't work until i reset my phone, and many other issues like the phone not registering sometimes when i touch the screen, and pressing random buttons. I bring the phone back in and they tell me it's because the screen they replaced it with was a "third party screen" and if i want to fix all of these issues i have to buy an apple screen. They didn't tell me any of this when i came in the first time. My phone is an iphone X and it would cost me the price of a new phone to buy their apple screen. Ridiculous they didn't tell me any of this could happen before they replaced it, i would have just gotten a new phone. Don't get your stuff fixed here read more

We had my husbands iphone screen fixed here a few months ago and within a month the screen cracked while inside of a otter box defender. We called them right away and were told that they would not replace it. The phone was not dropped and has always been in the case. The screen is now glitching and not functioning so we have to take it to Apple and have them replace it. I would recommend just paying the extra 40-50 and taking it to Apple bc the screens that cpr have are junk. I do not leave bad reviews as I have been in customer service for 15 years however this I feel is warrants a bad review. Bottom line : take it to Apple and get it fixed correctly. read more

worse place ever to get your phone fixs...... they dont hornor their warranty an they broke my phone ..they refuse to fixs it after they ..notice i said they broke it .. i took my phone in to get the glass repaired i have a samsung galaxy 8 .my phone worked find it was just the glass was cracked .i was going to try an replace the glass my self by ordering the kit from amazon which was only 20 dollars for everything i needed to fixs my phone ...but after doing some research was told it would be better to leave it to the experts. so i call around an best buy wanted 250 to fix my phone an a friend said to call cpr which i did an they wanted 225 an it was close to me so i took the phone in had to wait 5 days to get my phone back an the cost was 263 an i just happy to get my phone back an that the crack was gone ...but mych too my surprise my phone wouldnt work any more ..i call my carrier first that didnt work they tryed then i call cpr they try to say it wasnt rhem i took it to my carrier.to have them look at it an said cpr messed up ur phone take it back to them so i did an they again refuge to fix it so after a month of going back an forth cpr finally decide to look at my phone i go back to pick uo my phone an they crack the glass in it to take it apart an told me it was my problem that they were not held responable an i would have to pay another 263 to get the glass fixed an my phone still dosent work .. so now i own a 900 dollar pc of crap that only works with wifi ..i called the sansung company an told them what had happen an they too said cpr broke my phone bc their are sensor in the phone an u have to be very carr are u will mess the phone up they said that why we tell people to take their phone to a personal to get it fix .. i thought i did .but i was wrong cpr do not take ur phone to cpr go alittle further an take it to best buy i wish i would of .i had my phone fixs their before they done a great job my phone worked an looked good..but no i took the cheaper way an look what i got they broke my screen an it dosent work .. so thank cpr ...not!!!!!! . read more

I dropped my iPhone 6 and literally ran over it with my car (yes, my luck is THAT bad!)! This was not just a crack, it was totally smashed! I knew I would have a large deductible for Apple to replace it, so I took a chance and handed it over to The Screen Spot. I received an honest evaluation on what they could do (and couldn't) based on the damage. Faster than expected - THEY FIXED MY PHONE!!! And didn't charge me an arm and a leg for the service! Absolutely horrible!! Do not waste your money or your time. My experience with this business was terrible. I went in there with a cracked screen on my iPhone 6 Plus they said they could repair for $115. Sure it took an hour but the headaches that followed were not worth it! When I left I noticed my thumb pad wasn't accepting my thumb print so I call them to ask if they turned it off because I couldn't get it back on. They said it might be a loose pad, come back in and we'll take a look. I go back in that night and the guy takes a look and says I think it's a twisted wire in there, they're very fragile and someone would call me in the morning because the head tech would be in and they would have to order a new part. I get a call the next afternoon with an explanation that it's not their fault it's apples because if you change the screen it's a security defense because apple doesn't want you putting your screen on someone else's phone and stealing their information. Hold up...the screen isn't the issue, it's the thumb pad that quit working and they said they never replaced the thumb pad! So I say what are you telling me, you knew this would happen but don't have any disclaimers?!? He said we're going to start having them. Really?! After the thumb print feature has been out for more than 2 years...so after that shady business I notice my screen is starting to flash and weird colored spots of light are appearing on the edges. I spend all day with apple trying to back up my phone and restore factory settings to see if that would work. After no success they say it must be a hardware issue. Interesting when those experts are telling the truth and the shady crooks at the screen spot don't want to take the the blame for their mistake! So I call back later that afternoon (this is day 2 of dealing with the issue!) the manager gets on the phone with an apology and that he was doing investigation all day on what happened and to bring it back in and he'll take a look to try and get the thumb print working and that they'll definitely have to replace the screen AGAIN since I'm having color spots. Funny he now wants to help after I threatened a bad review! Now it's day 3 with this issue....I go in and he "takes a look" for an hour and he changed the screen which solved the light spots. But he says he spent the hour on the phone with apple and they say I need an update on it and that it must be a software issue that I need to reboot my phone. Funny because I did that the entire previous day because I didn't want to deal with them again. Here it is day four and now my phone has just developed a colored light spot on the screen. These people are crooks!! They had to replace my screen twice and BROKE MY PHONE!!! I went in with a cracked screen and come out with a 4 day headache, two screens replaced, a broken thumb pad that won't accept finger prints and now more light spots on my screen! Moral of this review is DO NOT go to these people or you'll deal with the same run around and shady dealings!!! read more

Went in, on a Thursday, with my Note 3 & they diagnosed my issue quickly and were very friendly. I needed a new battery, as mine had "exploded". I was told not to use my phone as it could literally explode & catch fire. The man helping me ordered a battery & told me that I could pick it up the next day, after 2:30 pm. I called the next day, around 3:50 pm, to make sure my battery was there & was asked not to come in & pick it up as they closed in an hour & were "slammed" with phones to fix. The guy that answered the phone was not the same guy that had helped me the previous day. So I'm just supposed to be without a phone until Monday, as I couldn't get there before they closed on Saturday & they are closed on Sunday. I've never been told not to come to a place of service because they were too busy to help me. Needless to say I went there anyway & then the young gentleman that was helping me didn't know what to charge me & had to call the manager and ask. It wasn't the best experience & will probably not recommend them to anyone. read more
