In the paperwork they give you it clearly says you are entitled to a refund. However the owner is refusing to give my money back. She has lied to me during this whole month telling me they were going to give it to me back now she is telling me they are not. The man who works up at the front desk told me they have no money in their company account! Scary... If you are a college student at Yavapai college. Please do not go here. That's what I am I am just trying to get through my nursing degree and these people have been a complete nightmare. I am working on getting Yavapai college to stop recommending this school.

Kerrie is well knowledgable and makes the class interactive and stress-free. Kerrie thoroughly went over the ACLS algorithms and guided us through mock codes, ensuring everyone got practice as the "leader". This is a four hour class, yes four hours!!! I for one I was happy it was this long, There is no way you can learn safety in just an hour or so. Our class was CPR, First Aide, and AED for adults and infants. My worst fear has always been if someone close to be is in need for help and I couldn't help. Now I have a lot more confident in knowing I can at least try, and make a differences. Everything was hands on and video training. I will definitely come back when I need more training!

I had to take the ACLS course for my job. Signing up and registering for the class was simple. This…read morewas a two-day class first part of the morning was dedicated to BLS and the 2nd part was for ACLS. Hannah was by far one of the best instructors I've ever had. She went through the information so thoroughly and paused if we had questions. She was funny which made class time fly by. She used her knowledge as a nurse and incorporated stories to make the information relevant and engaging which made the information easy to remember. I have always feared EKG strips and she broke down each rhythm to the basics that I FINALLY understood the material and not just memorized the strip. I will defiantly be sending my friends and retake the certification here again if Hannah is still there in two years! One thing to note: If you are taking ACLS the BLS portion will be included in the course. If you did not pay for the BLS portion you will not need to take the test and get your certification. My advice would be to just pay for both and have both certifications updated or recertified at the same time. You are still there for the same amount of time might as well take the test! I had to register in the front after we had a break to register for the BLS which was simple, and I got the book from them. Honestly not bothered at all for the extra fee as my BLS was about to expire in the next 6 months. I did overhear Hannah state if you have taken BLS course at one of their facilities within the week of your ACLS you might not have to take that part and come in later in the class but ALWAYS confirm! They are amazing at communication don't be afraid to ask!

My family and I took the CPR and AED class over the weekend. We are expecting a baby so we all…read morewanted to be prepared. Scheduling was easy and Tyson is responsive to questions over Yelp as I wanted to make sure there was child and infant portion of the CPR class we would take. Check in was simple and the classroom was set up already. It was roomy and comfortable. The bathroom was tidy. There were posters all over the walls which went over some common misconceptions people have about rendering aid, like you can't be sued if acting in good faith. There is a storage space for your belongings which is great since half of the class is hands on, on the floor (as an emergency would be also). I am very pregnant (delivering in a few days) and Drea was quick to offer me accommodation so that I did not have to get on the floor. They also didn't bat an eye at my refusal to partner with a lady who had coughed and blew her nose through the entire introduction video, and accommodated her separately. It is unusual for me to do something like that but now is not the time for me to get sick and they didn't make me feel bad for it. There were some videos playing in the room before we started, which became confusing for my family because they were put out by the American Heart Association and promote hands-only CPR. It made my family think that we were not going to learn rescue breathing. I explained that I thought it was a space-filler for while we were waiting to start and that the current recommendation by the AHA is hands only so less people would be afraid to help. Tyson later explained this issue during the class as well. The class does indeed cover rescue breathing. He also explained how and why some things we learned in past CPR classes are not recommended any longer. The actual training videos were well made and did not seem outdated. The dummies were very cool because they were electronic and had lights to show you if you were doing well enough. Their chest rises so you can see and feel what a strong enough breath is like. I struggled to do 2 minutes of CPR. It was reassuring to work on a dummy with feedback. It was also great to work with a practice AED. I'd never touched one before and they seem scary but after learning how they don't just go off unless someone pushes a button, I felt better. It was good to be able to work with the infant dummies also and to practice hitting them on the back for choking, and chest compressions to see how much pressure to use. I realized I needed to tell my mom to be sure to hit my child harder if mine started choking! My dad realized he better get an AED for the cabin because my mom won't be able to do much chest compression if he were to need it. All in all a well-run class and business.

Fair meaning he didn't want to start time on our lane if we wanted to get food to eat while playing. It's a plus even having a snack bar. Then also offering to wait to start time was a nice little bonus. He also wanted to make sure all three people in our party could stick one throw before starting time. Other than axes, this place also lets you throw knives & ninja stars with instruction on how to throw those, too. Near the snack bar there was also an air hockey table, video games & crane games. This facility also has darts and laser tag available, but I did neither of the additional activities. If you're not wearing closed toe shoes, they have loaner crocs up for grabs...although I'm not sure who would wear open toe shoes to this place or why they would.

It wasn't very busy, so we had plenty of time to enjoy both the arcade and laser tag without feeling rushed. The menu had a nice variety of options and was reasonably priced, which was a pleasant surprise. Everything about the visit felt easy, fun, and well-run. We would definitely come back and highly recommend FlagTag to anyone visiting Flagstaff--especially if you're looking for a fun, low-stress activity to enjoy with family or friends.
