I would recommend this class 100% & will keep going back to this location! The owner is super patient and friendly. He works very efficiently & is going to help you get your certificate in a span of 2-3 hours & quite literally emails you the certificate after the test you take at the end of the class. He goes over the course as a whole and makes it impossible for you to fail the test. He also has a custom t-shirt shop in the same establishment and there was some work I recognized, 10/10 stars if I could give them. His shop is very clean and he practices good hygiene during courses with hand sanitizer and spray bottles of alcohol to clean supplies. read more

Bait and switch scam -- owner lied to me to try to get me to pay more money. I signed up for this course a year ago. Due to personal tragedy, I was unable to complete the course at the time. I emailed them a few weeks ago and they said I could reschedule for a reschedule fee of $150. A but steep, that's half the cost of the class, but awesome! It's been a year so I appreciated that. I paid the fee and did the class. As I waited to collect my card, the owner told me I owed $180. He said because it's been a year I had to pay full price, despite what he said in his email reply to me. I explained that I'd have understood if he'd originally told me it's been too long and the course couldn't be rescheduled, but that he should honor what he said in his email since he only brought up the extra charge right after I finished the course. He got defensive, said he's the boss, and he makes the rules. He got $330 for free from me a year ago, $150 now, and that apparently wasn't enough for him. His rules are apparently to go back on his word and pressure you to pay more money after wasting a bunch of your time. He started yelling so I left. That was an incredibly scummy thing to do to someone. Don't go here. read more

Completed my BLS class here. Yes, it's a shared space with a t-shirt store, but that has no impact on the class. The space is clean! The necessary information is provided! AHA videos are used! Hever was a great instructor! I appreciate how he emphasized what information was going to be on the test. 10/10! Will be back in 2 years for my renewal! read more

Signed up online. They have video instructions and whatnot on how the process goes to sign up and purchase ticket online. Instructor is pretty straight forward. Class was good! 1st off not sure if the large man with braces was the instructor Hever or not, but for this we will assume it is Hever. But here is my experience with him and place. Should have known having a CPR/BLS instruction at a "sign store"...yes you heard me a sign store, should be a clue this place was sketch. Starts out saying "if you don't like manikin, tough." Well, this place is going to be great. Then I realized I messed up and did not read all E-mail from AHA, so as a result I was trying to book another class before I left, as I knew I wasn't going to be able to go today. As I was trying to correct my mistake a woman came in with a baby and young girl. Hever then goes to say "we don't do day care." The woman tried to explain the urgency and babysitter called off. Hever was telling her she has to re-schedule and pay for another class. This went on for about 2-4 minutes. She explained she paid and just needed to have a skills check. He stated "show me your ticket." which she did. THis went of for about 1 min of Hever stating "I need to see ticket," and her showing the receipt...but for some reason he wouldn't accept. Now it will become clearer the level of human we are dealing with later. Next, realizing and stating " it doesn't really matter what I say or show you you aren't going to let me in." So she turned to me and said you can have my seat. Hever again went into "show me your ticket and we are full." She stated"I get that, but now that I cant take class you have a spot and I want this man to have mine." Hever said..."we are full." Well, not really as you denied someone, who paid, and that would free up a spot(math is harder for some people I guess.) So the lady left with children, and said "I hope you get back what you put out."(loved that) and left. So, she was not given any refund or information about if she could get one. Now I am on CPR Class today web site trying to book a new class. I see the Sat 60$ special. So, I ask about sat if there are any openings before I proceed. I was about to book one and Hever stated "what date are you on." I was on the 26th, again my mistake, because that was the only 'clic-able' option and I was trying to get out of there. He stated we are not open on Saturday...now mind you on website it states "open every day M-Sat". But, ok I miss read. Here is where I lost it. Hever stated "sign up for tomorrow, Friday." I said "um today is Wed, tomorrow is Thursday." He stated, "we have opening for Friday, tomorrow."(again as today is Wed there is no possibility tomorrow is Friday.) So, I was looking and there was no class listed for tomorrow. So, I stated"there not a class for Friday or tomorrow." He said no sign up for tomorrow Friday." Now I'm done with you. It is extreamly hard to have a conversation with someone who doesn't know the correct order of days or at least what day of the week it currently is. So, should someone who won't recognize a receipt, doesn't know day of week, doesn't know what web site says(days of operation) be trusted with educating people how to save lives? I'll leave that up to you, but best guess is NO! Compound this with the way Hever treated and ignored another customer was the last straw. So, I had a few choice words with Hever. On the lines of "dumb as f@@@", "a-hole" to other customers" and for Hever to "f-off and suck my 'little friend'". Now did I over react....damn straight I did. Is this a place to get CPR/BLS....damn straight it isn't! Moral of story, don't get a BLS/CPR re-certification from a strip-mall sign store and from a guy who is rude to paying customers and doesn't listen at all, oh and let's not forget knowing the day of the week and correct order of days of the week. Little side note, I contacted CPR Class Today and the lovely folks there sent this reply as some veiled threat or something. "We have a video of you insulting the instructor and capture the whole interaction. Thank you and have a good day." Cool, so then you also have a video of Hever rudeness to the lady who left and Hever's genius level of the days of the week and strong math skills. As well as an illegal audio, as you stated, as there was no notification posted audio was being recorded....so you have a video of a person talking to someone and then leaving....but I'm sure they know that being Hever knew the days of the week so well. Could have handled way better. But, when you try to be rational with people and they still keep making same mistakes and not listening to reality you loss it and have to tell them the truth....and sometimes the truth isn't very polite. Good luck to anyone who tries to use this service again....you will need a TON of patience....I mean a TON!! read more

Did my BLS here a couple of months ago and had a great experience so I decided to do my ACLS here too. I didn't know what to expect because it was my first first attempting to get ACLS certified but I'm they accommodated me! You have to buy 2 parts, in which I bought part 1 thru AHA. That was kinda long but self paced. After I finished that I sent them an email because the testing days scheduled didn't work for me, and they were kind enough to allow me to come in the very next day! Thank you because I needed it asap & I feel like I learned a lot! Very nice staff & clean. My in person test probably took about 30-45 mins. Thanks again! read more
