Bushes I ordered from other nurseries looked like sticks and arrived mostly dried up. Grimm's Gardens delivers excellence every time. They seem to have a good variety of annuals, shrubs, trees and perennials - beautifully cared for and everything appears to be healthy and strong. They had some birds on viewing in a little aviary, a little ride-on toy, and several sturdy (aka not easily broken) toys for them to tinker with. As we checked out for the day, the woman at the counter even invited them to grab a free little trinket animal. Adorable pot holders im shapes of owls, rabbits and frogs amongst other. A blinding array of seed packets. A little corner of clearance items. Wind chimes, metal decorations and so many other things I didn't have time to see. The greenhouse area had different types of plants, seedlings and soil. Unfortunately they were sold out of what we were looking for but it was fun to see all the other things. Sorely tempted to swing by and pick up some of the animal shaped pot holders. This gem is in my neighborhood. I visited a couple of times four years ago, and then they were…read moreclosed. I thought they had ceased retail sales, but I've now learned they were damaged by hail. Turns out there are new owners who have rebuilt an aging greenhouse with more durable materials and are back open to the public. The environment is clean and organized. I have been there three or four times this season. It is a family-run business, and I've had excellent customer service from the owners and staff each time. They grow many of their own plants and are very knowledgeable. I will encourage everyone to shop at Estate Landscape Nursery. Apparently they also do fundraisers for schools and organizations.
