I think it was due to a recent change in their billing software. Even with this mistake, he'd only charged us for 15 minutes of billable hours (instead of zero, since we'd paid the flat contested fee up front), which is honestly quite generous considering how much nonsense he had to put up with from the defendant. I'd take a half star off for this if yelp allowed it. Overall, I'd definitely hire him for any real estate lawsuits I have in the future (hopefully none!).
