Most of the employees are very helpful with anything you need. The only negative thing I have to say is that there's one employee who regularly walks into the locker room when people are changing. The owner is so friendly and made it easy to drop in. It was only $10 to drop in, he accepts payment through Venmo. The gym has equipment for any type of workout: powerlifting, CrossFit (bumper plates available), or just cardio machines like bikes, treadmills, etc. There are plenty of free weights and a nice sized rig in the middle of the gym as well. The gym also has ladies and men's locker rooms/rest rooms so you can store your gym bag while you workout. I appreciated how easy it was to just come by in the mornings and will drop in again when I'm back in town!

When I visited for AT (Aug '23) hours were 0500-2300 daily. Equipment is a bit outdated but works nonetheless. Clean overall. Did not get to check out the locker rooms, unisex bathroom was clean though. Upon entering the building, you have the option to go left or right. The left building has the free weights but I went during a very busy time so it was packed. The right is clearly the older section and houses the attached pictures. Cardio machines here, a few simple weight machines. Did not see any staff, there was a sign in book upon entry. Overall, thankful to be able to hit the gym while visiting Camp Grayling.

This is a SMALL, well maintained gym. My main issue is the cleanliness. There are men in the gym that spit their dip while working out and leave it on the floor. They don't wipe down the machine/equipment either. There is a man who has varicose veins that bleed onto machines/equipment, he won't clean the machines. Guys drenched in sweat, will not clean machines or equipment. I asked one guy if he cleaned a bench and he just stared at me. I asked the employees if they could talk to them, they won't intervene, it's not their place??? Why have people work there that won't go over basic rules and give reminders? I cancelled because it was disgusting and they were ZERO help getting any discount or refund. The payment is predatory, they still charge after cancelling and won't reimburse. It is fine, I paid to get out of the contract. I built a home gym so I didn't have to worry about MRSA or blood borne illness.

They continued to charge my card around $1,000 in recurring charges and still refuse to cancel it, they threaten customers with "collections" if you stop the payments through your credit card company. Don't trust them with your CC info, go somewhere else.
