He is efficient yet takes the time to ask questions and determine what you need. No appointments--just walk-ins. Whenever I visit it is busy, yet I am in and out in a short time. I returned to Dr. Rolle because my left knee was aching, and I had trouble sleeping because of that. The knee pain went away within 24 hours after my first adjustment.

(Dr. Bob Rollé-d off into retirement at the end of 2019.) I was having tension issues and hadn't been adjusted since the spat with my previous chiro's staff the day after Christmas, so I went in after dinner (they're open 'til 7 on Thursdays) to get started as a new patient. It was as simple as writing my info down on a card and shading in the sore spots on the diagram on the back. (Clever idea!) Their policy of getting you loosened up with the heating pad before you get adjusted was a blessing...well, except for the part where I was suddenly so sleepy that I thought I was going to tip over on the potty before I got adjusted! (*chuckle*) Doc was very good at explaining everything he was doing and giving me ideas of what might be going on with my body. Everything was very low pressure ("I'd like to get a film of your back, but whenever you have the time") and no fuss. Even payment was, "Let me look into getting a referral from your doctor and I'll let you know." The hydrobed (first picture) made me laugh. It's a lot like someone throwing a hundred fish into the bladder of my childhood waterbed and then telling me to lie on top of them as they thrash around. (I couldn't write that without giggling!) Definitely something you have to experience for yourself.

Why rely on pain medicine when I can simply reduce the chronic stiffness that makes me so painful?…read moreI'd rather have a body that wants to get up and move, even if it means I have to do some work to get it. Having been through two decades of conventional physical therapy and a decade of Rolfing, I still had so much tightness in my joints that I wanted to do something other than start another round of conventional PT. I started out with a half hour mini session. I was taught three basic exercises. Even those three could take me far, but I wanted even more. What Eric does during the appointments is teach me the somatic exercises which I do on my own at home. These exercises are to be done gently and slowly. I find them so relaxing that I am yawning as I am doing them. Yoga *never* relaxed me that much! Eric also gives my elongation of muscles a boost during the one on one sessions by giving my limbs something to push against, guiding me into positions that are specific to my muscular issues. I have seen remarkable increases in mobility, and there still is room for improvement, so I am looking forward to feeling more mobile! I have significantly less muscle and joint pain, and perhaps that is also the reason my fatigue seems less. I'm sleeping better. In only a few weeks I have seen so much improvement that I'm going to stick with "Somatic" exercises, and give up on the antiquated idea of stretching muscles. ELONGATING muscles via pandiculation seems to be the way to go! Eric seems very dedicated to helping me. He's eager to cover as much as possible in each two hour session. He supplies me with a list of the exercises with photographs to help me remember how to do them at home. The nice thing is that I don't have to do everything perfectly. Actually, some variation in how the exercises are done from day to day is a good thing, in order to reach a slightly different area each time. I'm letting my body tell me when and how it wants to do the exercises and I think that's putting me back in touch with my inner pussy cat. You see, the pandiculation is how cats and other animals can stay so supple. I'm glad I found Eric and decided to give his ideas a try.

He was gentle and thoughtful and continued using every tool in his toolbox (and there are many!) until he solved my problem. I can't believe how much better I feel! I learned my lesson: I'm not going to miss my somatic movements ever again. I never want to have another day of pain like I had yesterday. I'm just grateful Eric had time to see me.
