Recently, Sanrio and Pusheen did a collaboration and offered a number of products. There were two…read moreplushies that I wanted from this collection. I tend to buy all things Pusheen from queenie's cards. When these products were rolled out, they were sold out within five minutes of being available online. I'm not exactly a hardcore Pusheen fan where I need everything. I am fairly selective. I actually found out about these items being sold out an hour later. Because queenie's cards was closing its physical store, but remaining as an online-only store, it wasn't going to restock. Queenie suggested that I try The Littlest Gift Boutique. She is friends with the owner. Sure enough, I was able to order the two plushies that I wanted. Yay! There were options to either have them delivered or visit the store at Square One. Since I hadn't shopped at this mall in nearly two years and I knew that I would be in the area, I went with pickup. I dropped by last night. Information about where the store was clearly stated in my confirmation message from The Littlest Gift Boutique. I had no problem finding entrance 9 at the mall. I parked and walked over. The store doesn't have its formal business name displayed. Rather, it simply had Gifts & Collectibles as I walked by. I looked at the plushies behind the glass, looked across to see Laura Secord, and put everything together. This store was what I needed. Similar to walking into queenie's cards, it felt magical at The Littlest Gift Boutique. It specializes in Japanese gifts and plushies that you get from playing claw machines. I was so happy looking at everything in this store. There are a lot of Pusheen products. I have a few that were displayed, such as Pusheen as a donut. I looked at the two plushies that I was about to pick up. They looked so adorable. I got to speak with the owner, who was friendly and great. I asked what she needed from me for her to fetch my order. She said the order number would be fine. I let her look at the number on my phone and she knew exactly which order was mine. She came back with a clear bag containing my plushies. I was in love with them. I asked how long she has been at the mall. She had her launch in November 2020, and then had to shut down due to one of our pandemic lockdowns. She will be at the mall till December of this year. Her business is considered a popup store. I let her know that her store filled me with joy. I could tell that she was happy hearing it. I wished her a great evening and I happily walked out with my goodies. I love getting handwritten notes. She had written one on my bag. It was lovely! My two new plushie addictions are cool. Pusheen is wearing a pink Hello Kitty dress with real pockets and Hello Kitty is wearing a Pusheen outfit. Cute! I loved a lot of items in this store, from an extensive wand collection, to Funko Pop figures. There was so much to look at. I was probably in this store way longer than I had anticipated. This store is awesome. I'm looking forward to returning, hopefully before it is no longer at Square One. (367)

They have a serious commitment to quality products which is what I like when spending my money or time. Engraved a silver plated spoon for a baptism and purchased another side gift and everything was finished and wrapped beautifully. There is even a card option free of charge. I don't generally enjoy shopping but was able to complete this process virtually with ease and not have to worry about quality. Worth the spend for nice gifts and service.

I can't believe that I have never reviewed Heartland Town Centre. I've been visiting for years…read more Weird! Heartland Town Centre is your Mississauga mecca for shopping at box stores. Because it covers such a vast area, it's best to figure out which stores you'd like to visit and drive over to them. The stores range from outlets to regular retail. You also have eateries and professional services mixed in for good measure. My go-to stores tend to be Winners, Kitchen Stuff Plus, Gap Outlet, and Krispy Kreme. The first two are next door from each other, so it's a two-for-one shopping extravaganza for me. I have found some nice merchandise at good prices at both stores. I love this Gap Outlet, as I have scored some nice discounts on jackets and clothing. I don't consume donuts often, but I love Krispy Kreme to the point where I've been known to do a donut run before heading back to the office. It takes me fifteen minutes to get here from my workplace. It's deadly and cool. Besides the stores that I have just mentioned, here's a running list of stores at Heartland that I have visited so far: - Bath & Body Works - Best Buy - Loblaws - Marshalls - Old Navy - Roots - Seafood City Supermarket Here are eateries that I have stuffed my face at: - Grill City - Heart Sushi - Jollibee - Tandoori Flame There are so many stores and eateries. HomeSense is a large department store with brand name products at very decent prices…read more It's part of parent TJX Companies holding that also includes Winners & Marshalls so you might notice some similarities in how all these stores is layed out. HomeSense stores have brand name merchandise for any room in your home including art, furniture, lighting and rugs. The consumer target market is drop-in customers as you can't shop on-line (...which is currently the case). On any given week they can stock a product you may never see stocked again. Other HomeSense stores may not have the same product on hand. If you like it, then I suggest you buy as you can always return it if you change your mind. Staff are helpful and checkouts are fairly quick.

You'll always get a warm welcome when you enter the store. Their candle fragrances are not over overwhelming as say, Yankee Candle. Their fragrances are more refined.
