The brothers that Just do gutters did a great job installing new gutters on my house. They told me…read moreexactly what they were going to do and then the job was finished they walked me through everything they had done. The work was fast and they kept things for clean while installing.

The actual install time was impressive -- a two-man crew completed my 288 feet of gutters in one day, which I appreciated. Unfortunately, the overall experience left me frustrated. From the beginning, communication was inconsistent. My sales rep was late to the estimate appointment with the schedule that kept getting pushed back. While he did offer a discount for the inconvenience, the pricing was still higher than other quotes I received, but I chose this company because I trusted the professionalism and quality they advertised. The finished product had several details that felt rushed or poorly thought out. Some downspouts looked awkward and out of place, extending over sidewalks or into flower beds in ways that didn't seem properly planned. To the crew's credit, when I pointed issues out they did make adjustments, but I felt like I had to constantly micromanage the project to get things corrected instead of things being done right the first time. One of my biggest frustrations was the lack of communication during the install. Decisions were made on parts of the project that were never discussed with me beforehand. I did speak with the sales rep afterward about my concerns, but getting clear answers and resolutions felt like pulling teeth. There also was never any final walkthrough after completion. I found metal scraps and debris throughout my driveway and yard afterward, which was disappointing and could have caused damage or injury if I hadn't cleaned it up myself with a magnet. Overall, the gutters function, and there were parts of the experience that were positive, but for the price paid and the reputation of the company, I expected much better communication, attention to detail, and professionalism from start to finish.

do not recommend this contractor. I hired him to insulate,…read moredrywall, and add some framing in a shed I was converting into an art studio. He gave me a quote of $1,200 and sent a contract but never came to inspect the building beforehand or requested more photos. Once he started, he ran into problems because the structure (Amish-built) wasn't up to code and not perfectly square. He charged me an additional $700 due to these framing issues -- which I paid. While I understand that the framing problems weren't his fault, this could have been avoided if he had come to assess the space beforehand or at least communicated the extra costs before starting. He could have also chosen to pull out of the project if it was more work than anticipated. The main problem is the poor quality of work and unprofessional behavior. He told me the job was "done," but when I inspected, I found: * Wet globs of unsanded drywall mud * Corners left open with no tape or mud * Over-sanded areas that damaged the drywall paper * Tape lifting and chipping off * Drywall dust left on every surface, making the walls unpaintable * Scraps of drywall left behind, which he later said he would remove -- for an extra $50 The contract specifically stated "paint-ready drywall," but the work was nowhere near that standard. He also drywalled over an electrical outlet. When I told him, he denied it and said he would cut a hole to prove me wrong -- and that I would owe him $100 for the repair if he didn't find anything. He came back, cut into the wall, and found the outlet exactly where I said it was. No apology was given. When I raised concerns about the poor finish, he and his wife (who accompanied him) were rude and confrontational. Because of this, my husband asked them to leave during the attempted repairs, as I no longer felt comfortable having them on the property. To make matters worse, he demanded the remaining payment days before the job was finished, texting me that he needed the money immediately because his phone was dying and he was broke. This was despite our contract clearly stating half was due up front and half upon completion. I did pay for extra materials when requested, but the constant pressure for early payment was inappropriate. After all was said and done, he demanded full payment which i did give him because i wanted the situation to be over. Now i get to hire someone else to come fix this mess. Overall, this was a stressful and disappointing experience. I would never hire him again and strongly advise others to look elsewhere
