Saying that, I've never been to a church like Have Life before. It's real, impactful, loving, and welcoming with a great foundation. You get what you're supposed to get from church without the extra or stiffness. The production of the worship experience is amazing and the talent/annointing this church has from the singers, musicians, praise and worship leaders, church organization/leadership and pastors is mind blowing. 1. Huge church system and outspoken on their authority . They have bragged about ending the debates…read moreabout what their agenda is etc. by making their elder meetings secret; and imposing a code of silence on the people, with threats of retaliations. Joe Brown delivered this ultimatum in one of his last presidings. 2. The don't ask or advise you on scripture pertaining to a matter; an elder stops you outside along with his "second" /bodyguard/enforcer; and directs you as to what he demands done; after doing that to me about testifying against in court about a preacher they knew and threatening me if i did; it took the parking lot off duty police to stop me from going after them both. 3. The threat wasn't talk, they approached me over and over; and when I did testify and he was convicted of his sexual misconduct; they went kind'a viscous about their debt and the secret code imposed and tried to lock down the congregation while they tiree'd everyone about it; to which I stood and dared someone to touch me and walked out, never went back, and even though they argued me not to I resigned from their church. 2200 other people did that month as well ! 4. The threats and some retaliation went on for years ! 5. A check of their corporate records showed that few elite types from the Raleigh area actually own the church, and they basically run it for profit and influence. 6. They have helped some people with some issues but are blatent about not being a pastoral church and don't have any intent of rebuking demons , that not their forte; they put on a good show and do some good works.
