We weren't having drinks so the glassware was taken away, but the place settings included chopsticks for an authentic experience. I had a mixed Chinese vegetable stir fry while my friend had honey black pepper lamb. We decided to forego rice, but in hindsight, we kind of wish we had ordered it to have with the delicious sauces in our dishes. As it was, we still had enough to take home for lunch the next day. The table had a plate of prawn crackers, melt-in-your-mouth crispies with very mild prawn flavor that was appealing to both of us, to our surprise since we didn't know what they were. The server was great and brought a fork for my friend. The dishes were served family style for sharing. The restaurant is up a few steps, which might be a problem for some. We didn't ask if there was a lift.

Our Herb and Garlic Squares could have done with more garlic, but then again is there really any such thing as 'enough' garlic? The pizzas were average, not overloaded with toppings but the crust was a bit bland and could have been crispier. The open air seating area overlooks the busy Barrenjoey Road and onto the chicken shop across the road. For a bit more ambience, take your pizza across the road to Newport beach - probably where all the Crust boys' friends are hanging.
