I have been using Crazy 8 on and off for about 9 years. This last year quite often. I pay different prices for going to the same places. Sometimes they don't show up and then don't answer the phone when I call to find out when they will be here. Uber and other companies charge more and if I'm doing cash I can't use them anyway. So I continue to put up with Crazy 8. It would be good if they would realize I'm a paying customer and should be treated that way. They round up to the next dollar if you go over, $3.15 would be $4. The up keep of their vehicles is terrible so sometimes they won't take you to where you need to go. On the upside there are a few wonderful drivers but they aren't always working when I need a ride. read more

I'm appalled by the quality of their drivers as human beings. Their driving quality is lousy, but that's not surprising given the condition of their cars. The thing that forced me to write this review was seeing a driver physically dragging a disabled passenger across the hot asphalt of a medical plaza parking lot. I ran over and helped the man up and into his wheelchair but seriously - what on earth was the driver thinking??? The worst part about seeing it was that I wasn't at all surprised by the fact that it happened. My suggestion is to pay for a Lyft or Uber and avoid Crazy 8. Let your money support drivers who are good people. read more

Called for a ride from Drs office. Told me they would be there in 1/2 hr. 1 1/2 hour later no taxi, wouldn't answer the phone. Called a different cab service, picked me up in 10 minutes. read more

My son used this cab service to come to my home .The taxi driver hit our brick fence and knocked it down. The driver said he would fix it and since it was the middle of the night and dark I assumed he would come back and fix it the next day. The next day when I did not hear from him I called the dispatcher and she asked me to send pictures which I did and they would get back to me. Nobody ever made any contact and when my mother who was the home owner was finally able to get ahold of the owner he told her he fired the driver and he will not stand behind the driver he hired and fix the fence. He sure didn't have a problem taking the money for the fare I will never use this cab company and would be very concerned if he won't stand by his driver for this which was total negligence of the driver what if you were in a accident? I've used Crazy 8's Cab Company taxi service a few times here in Yuma, AZ and so far their taxi drivers have picked me up on time, their dispatch and drivers were polite and courteous, and the taxi service fees were reasonably priced. For those folks complaining about the taxi vehicle's aesthetics and or the drivers appearance, "For God's sake, Get Over It! You'll Live!" You are not buying the vehicles, or marrying/dating the drivers! If you want the red carpet and the Slim Shady Red Carpet service then go and hire yourself a limousine service. I would give them 5 stars, especially because a good taxi company is so rare in Yuma, BUT they don't always answer when you call. For me, that's worth deducting a star. Other than that, they have clean vehicles, professional staff, and they have ALWAYS been 5 minutes early when I arranged for them to pick me up. Also, they take credit cards...most other companies in Yuma are cash only. Let's put it this way, this company is always the first I call in Yuma, and I always hope they'll answer because I know I will get good service. Everything you would expect from a good cab company this place has got it. The only reason is that I didn't rate five starts is because they don't have a ton of cars. And on busy nights it can be up to a 45 minute wait. But the prices are good. And I'll use them again read more

After making a reservation 2 days in advance for a ride from the airport to Los Algodones and back to the airport I was VERY clear about the importance of time for my ride as I was catching a plane. I was picked up from the airport, no problem, had a lengthy conversation with the driver about what time she should pick us up for our ride back as we had to catch a flight. 10:55 or 11 at the latest. I even stated I would pay extra if needed. Got picked up at 11:18, missed my flight by 5 min., had to spend the night in PHX because missing the flight in Yuma made me miss my connecting flight home. So the way I see it this 'taxi service' cost me $100 hotel and 24 hours of time I could have been spending healing after the dental work I received in Los Algodones.
