I went with my wife and toddler to see the tulips here in May. While the farm and flowers…read morethemselves were quite nice, there were several factors that made this a negative experience. The primary one, that I'll write about here, was very poor line management and a huge lack of clarity. They have "Tickets" and "Wristbands" buying a "ticket" makes you eligible for a "wristband, but they are not the same thing. They had a terrible solution. Where you wait in an insanely long line (literally an hour long) to get a "ticket" then you have to go all the way back to another insanely long line to get a "wristband" in order to get in the hayride that takes you to the flowers (they would not allow people to walk). There was not clear signage which lead to a lot of confusion that really slowed things down. What made things worse is that we were there right at opening time, so we completed the idiotic process properly. But about an hour in the staff realized how bad their idea was, and tried to combine the lines which led to a ton of people being able to budge us, which was really unfortunate and frustrating. I certainly would never visit this place again on a weekend. It was such a poor experience. Maybe going during the week when visitation is not at peak could be feasible.

Went back after a few years. It was a lot busier which is to be expected however they can not…read morehandle how many people are going. There are no signs telling you where to get what. We bought tickets online in advance, but there was no sign for online sales. Then once we finally found the right line there's only one iPad so the guy had to walk away to get it to scan our tickets. Once you get out of the main area (we ended up walking because only two trackers were going and the line was super long) it was good. We liked the lower area but the front was a total mess and took way more time than it needed to. Pretty disappointed. Hopefully they can fix the front area before next season. Also, there were SO many bees.

One thing I really appreciate is that general admission is free... a nice change compared to other county fairs. There's also free street parking available, or you can pay to park in the lot. The fair has all the staples: lots of food vendors, barns with animals, non-food vendor booths, live music on multiple stages, and a ride/game area. Classic fair fun! The night I went was a bit warm, so we didn't try as many foods as usual. We started with cheese curds (served hot and super tasty), then a slice of spicy pickle pizza-- not bad, but not the best either. We ended the evening with a chocolatey whoopie pie, and that was seriously yummmOOO! One area that could use some improvement, though, is the bathrooms. They definitely need a bit more attention-- updating, cleanliness and upkeep could make a big difference in the overall experience. Suggestion: Please highly consider adding a water fountain/refill station for water bottles. Still, it's always a fun time, and I'm sure I'll be back next year!

They upgrade the food cup to a larger size for them on their birthday, which was really nice. We saw all kinds of really fun animals like kangaroos, Highland cows, ringtail lemurs, an emu, porcupines and so much more. I highly recommend coming here with kids ages 4 to 12. Really all ages could enjoy this experience as well but I think that age group would absolutely love seeing all the animals and the space is big enough yet small enough to have a solid hour or two of fun seeing the animals and interacting with them. Staff is really friendly and knowledgeable about the animals. My kids absolutely loved coming here and we will probably be visiting throughout the summer.

I wondered how they'd have safari animals in a run down mall. We all love animals and were curious to see the place. They have TONS of animals here. Especially with the birds it's quite loud and not good for children under one. I would say for the average child, they will have a fun experience seeing animals of all kinds up close. For me however, as an adult how knows better, these animals all look miserable. The kangaroos appeared sedated. Every single one we saw could barely keep their eyes open and didn't even react when being touched AT ALL. It's like we weren't even there. The otter enclosure reeked of urine and there were uncleaned feces all over their pen and toys. I watched one urinate in the ball pit they have. Like other reviews I've seen, the animals pace around in their small enclosures. I was surprised by how many fake plants there were, I can't imagine that's safe if ingested. As stated before, this is indoors in a mall. Only artificial lighting and no windows. Do these animals ever see the sun?? The Macaws paced and swayed like they were in a trance. Screaming at the sight of people who stood in front of their display or walked by. I was disturbed by the amount of parakeets they jammed into one enclosure with a concrete floor. The goats especially frantically paced around for food and I noticed they don't seem to have any food or water in their pens(at least that's visible). They nipped at kids fingers and one even ripped the paper cup from a child's hand and ate it whole. I saw ONE employee walking around working. I'm wondering where the supervision is to keep the animals safe if children become unpredictable and parents aren't watching closely. All in all a very depressing display. I don't see the "sustainable" aspect at all at this "safari" experience. I was hoping to be proved wrong, but I think this place should be investigated for animal welfare.
