This is my second project I hired Dahl's for and again I was not disappointed. Since my job was a…read moresmaller one, I made sure to get under contract before the season was on us, which meant I could be fitted in between larger jobs, and sooner than if I had waited to book them. They show up on time, ask me good questions and make sure I am happy all along the process, and they do a great job! If not for the straw laid down to help the grass seed, I would not see any signs of their work due to the cleanup they are careful about. Thank you to Steven, Nate and Brandon for their hard work and kindness all along. I had paving stones similar to my last project, so see the photos for examples. This time the work was in a different area of the yard, and it is covered up with straw so pictures don't do much good. However, trust me when I say it is quality work. I highly recommend Dahl's, but get on the schedule asap as they fill up for the season faster than you would hope.

They did replace the tree but unfortunately it was much smaller and we will have to wait for a few years to get any fruit. They did take $100 off for us to plant it ourselves. There should have been way better communication between the owner and staff so this didn't happen in the first place. The lead landscaper that was here working with the other guys said he "didn't bring his notes". We get mistakes happen, but you should probably show up with at least your notes to a job so you know what was asked to get done. Multiple areas the grass seed did not come up, so now we are left with weeds in spots we didn't have weeds before. The crushed granite patio has bare spots where the weed barrier is coming through. It's a very thin layer of stone and obviously not compacted tightly. They told us it wouldn't shift, we wouldn't have problems. It's been 3 months since it was put in and we already have an issue. We have tried calling and emailing several times for 2 months. We did get 1 call back that said they would come out to assess but it rained that day and they never called to reschedule or come out. Since no effort has been made by Dahl's landscaping to correct any of this, we will be forced to hire someone else to finish the job having to spend more money after being charged over 10k for something to be done correctly.

Jose arrived an hour later, did a walk through, provided a reasonable quote and was onsite the very next day to do the work of removing the weeds, trimming the hedges and reviving a deserted yard with the removal of the overgrowth of weeds. The crew came in and in a very short time had cut, rigged the limbs down, and had chipped up all of my storm debris. They cleaned up all the small debris afterwards. The service and quality of their work has always been exceptional. The prices are good for what they do. I highly recommend them. I tried to get limbs cut off my tree that were over my garage and near power lines. I called WE energies 4x's since I have lived here and I always got the run around from them and the limbs near the pole and over the garage had gotten out of hand. Affordable tree came out and they told me that they could do most of the work but leave the limb touching the wires. They just finished the job and as usual it was excellent work and what I was looking for them to do, they were able to do. Once again, I highly recommend them. Great people and excellent service.
