We absolutely love Creation Station, but specifically Miss Sydney. My daughter was initially very shy and timid which is typical for a toddler. However, over time she has come out of her shell and fallen in love with her dance class. Now she loves to practice at home and sings all the songs constantly. Creation Station has a true gem in Miss Sydney. She greats us every week with a warm, welcoming hello and has always remembered my daughter's name. She is engaging and so charismatic. Most importantly, she has the patience of a saint! It cannot be easy to wrangle 5-8 toddlers, especially when there are those who simply don't listen. She stays calm, continues to try and get them to participate and never lets her frustration show. We are so happy we found Creation Station and look forward to continuing our daughters dancing there. Honest and lengthy review. . . We had originally been going during the week since I was off work and able to take her to classes. I need to start by saying and Lindsey is your greatest asset. She is who I feel the 5 star ratings are pertaining to.... Once we switched to a weekend class we noticed a very large decline in customer care and I'm not sure we ever met our actual teacher from all the subs. The girl sitting at the desk could literally give two sh!ts less about the adults behavior or following any posted rules for the common curtesy of other paying customers. People eating and drinking INSIDE the dance room, more then one parent per kid, parents with multiple children (not taking the class) out of control inside the dance room while my child's class was going on- completely unacceptable. I found this to ruin my experience, every time. How very selfish of those parents to not allow other paying customers to enjoy the class their child is enrolled in. What's the number one rule when wearing tap shoes? No running. The other rule was no stomping but that rule goes out the door when theres a 'sub' teacher (that happens more frequently then not). The stomping is EAR PIERCING and honestly ruins tap shoes. There's was no discipline or any consistency with the teachers- and definitely no possibility of a routine for a recital.... I would not recommend this dance school to anyone with children 3 and up. read more

We just wrapped up our kid's 5th bday party at creation station and we could not have been happier about this decision! From the beginning the communication with the manager has been excellent. Cersha was prompt and responsive, informative and kind. We had the best party coordinators and teachers (Chelsea and Dana) who led creative games and dance moves, and got the whole entire party (~14 kids) moving and going! The tailored the whole package to our rather unique theme and went above and beyond our expectations! We are so impressed by their professionalism, talents, and kindness. Our experience with the Creation Station West Hills was disappointing, primarily due to the teacher's unprofessional behavior, Sydney. Rather than fostering a supportive and encouraging environment, the instructor was noticeably rude and dismissive, labeling my daughter as "not developmentally ready" for the next class up in a crowded lobby. This judgment felt particularly unjust, as my daughter is highly advanced (and gifted) and often finds herself bored in class. Additionally, the class routine was very repetitive and lacked any creative elements, which further diminished my daughter's engagement and enthusiasm. Instead of promoting a love for dance, the class left my daughter feeling discouraged and undervalued knowing her friends are now in another class except her. We will be seeking a more dynamic and supportive program in the future in which we can actually see a progress and it's not just for "fun". read more

Creation Station was a great experience for our daughter for five years. She learned a lot about ballet and tap through her classes there. We've seen her gain tremendous confidence in herself and her dance skills. She took ballet and tap for several years before moving to just a full class of ballet for almost a year. While some girls came and went, there was a small group she grew a friendship with and really enjoyed seeing every week. Our son also made friends with younger siblings while their sisters danced. Like families in the area, everyone was friendly. For us, it became a weekly family activity. We had such a good time with a weekly class that we added others at times. Our son took a hip hop (pip hop) class for a while and did as well as he could given his limited attention span. The people here are great. The instructors are knowledgeable, patient and friendly. The people at the front desk are great too. This is a well run dance studio. We cherish the time we took our daughter here for a class every week -- often almost 50 classes a year. In fact, we never had any issues with any teachers at any point. The teachers were all fantastic. I suppose that's how you keep loyal customers for a dance studio. The location is extremely convenient to go grocery shopping or get a coffee beverage. There's a benefit to having several stores nearby. We found out after years that the prices are on the higher end but we didn't mind because we were really supportive and encouraged by Creation Station and felt there was still a lot of value. We also saw many people we know through the community with children at the dance studio. It has a good reputation in the area. They hold one recital per year at a local public school. It's well run and efficient. The kids and parents enjoy it. The teachers are really helpful to the kids performing on stage. It's too bad the recital is just once a year. Sadly, our daughter outgrew Creation Station after her 5 years there and we realized it was time to move on elsewhere. We are grateful for the experience of having our daughter learn dance at Creation Station. read more

My daughter is 3 years old and loves dance class. She started out just running around and playing and now she actually dances and loves to copy the teacher. It is the cutest thing to watch her do ballet and tap. She likes to practice at home and wear her tutus. She has been taking class since she was 2 and is confident and can really follow directions now. I love how they end class with giving themselves a hug and repeating affirmations from the teacher about how strong and smart they are. We held our daughter's birthday party here yesterday. Wow! It was fabulous. Upon arriving, tables were set up for a little craft for the girls to do. Then they brought the girls into the dance room for dance games and to learn a quick number to show the parents at the end of the party. They started the dancing part with a great game that helped break the ice and gave the girls a chance to interact. Great idea! Then it was break time- snacks & drinks followed by cupcakes. Shortly after, the girls went back in and showed off their new dance for the parents. (Parents who did drop-off were told what time they should be back so they wouldn't miss it.) The instructors are great dance instructors to begin with (our daughter took dance there up until recently), but also understood the party dynamic (some kids are shy, some outgoing, parents of the birthday girl want to enjoy themselves and not do all the work). This studio was instrumental in helping my 3 year old come out of her shell! I cannot say enough kind words about it. Miss Caitlin is so patient (how does she do it with so many 2-5 year olds - I cannot even imagine!) and teaches the kids a tremendous amount of actual ballet and tap moves for their young ages. We started in the mommy and me toddler classes while my daughter was getting used to the idea of classes and still very shy. I have seen over the course of the past few months a different child emerge. She is a giggle monster now who talks about ballet all week long and cannot wait to get into the studio. I was very impressed with the prompt response I received to sign my 2 1/2 year old up for a 2's ballet/tap trial class. We attended last Sunday and when we arrived the staff were incredibly kind to us and helpful in finding the correct shoe size for my daughter to borrow.
