Boiler packed up and John arrived within an hour to assess the situation…read more It needed a new motherboard and as it is quite an old boiler it wasn't guaranteed if there were any spare parts for this type of Vaillant boiler. John managed to find it though and installed it straight away. Problem fixed within 24 hours! Super service, highly recommended!

Coming back from the Christmas holiday the house was freezing as the heating system had packed up…read moreduring our holiday. We phoned John Rae as we've used him before and was very satisfied with his services. John was however on holiday and I got an answering machine. The message said to leave my number which I did and to my surprise John phoned back despite being on holiday. I explained the problem to him and he decided to come round anyway to have a look at the problem. John found the problem straight away, a faulty fan which needed to be ordered. Problem was, this was Friday 30 December and all suppliers were shut or stock taking and we were faced being in a very cold house for about a week! However John went the extra mile and on his way home he passed a supplier that was not answering the phone and was about to close and they had the fan in stock. John returned with the fan fixed the problem and we were able to celebrate the New Year in a warm house! Thanks John, you went out of your way and never had such great customer service. Highly recommended!
