We contacted the student who offered for her to come back to fix it. When we left the second time, she still had yellow streaks and her instructor told the student good job. We were charged both times. We had to go have her hair fixed- a color correction and have now paid a lot of money and her hair is so damaged. I've left 4 messages for the owner with no return call. We've attempted to call several times and the voicemail is full. Not a very professional way to run a business. I feel bad for the students who are provided with minimal instruction.

After discussion with an advanced student and the supervisor educator stylist we decided to use foils and lighten everything to a silver, same color as my new growth. Then every 4-6 weeks that same process would be repeated until all hair was the same color. A quick hair trim and blow dry was included. I was very pleased with the outcome and that they were able to recommend a plan to transition to an all gray color down the road. Cosmetology school prices are seriously reasonable, no matter the budget you have. A full range of services is offered and they use top of the line quality Redken products. Went to Ravenscroft a few weeks ago to get haircut. It didn't look bad but the back was not done…read morethe way I wanted. I called as soon as I got home and was told to come back at my convenience and they would fix it. I went back yesterday. I was taken to the barber side. Don't understand why. I have never went in that side. I didn't get her name I believe it was AJ or something similar. More importantly I didn't get the instructors name when I went back you'll understand when you see the pics and I explain how he handled the matter. I had pics of how I wanted it and showed the student several several times. Here is the results. The first two pics is what I wanted. The last one is what I got. I can't see looking at the back with a mirror which I told the student that cut it I wish now I would have had her take a pic which I went to Walmart immediately leaving Ravenscroft and something just told me it wasn't right so I asked an employee at Walmart to take the Pic. I was horrified when I saw it, so waa she. I immediately returned to Ravenscroft and talked to the instructor. I didn't get his name. He reprimanded me several times reminding me she is just a student. I said yes I understand that. Apparently she needs better instructors. He then told me it's not that bad she just got it a little shorter than I wanted. As I argued that point of no that's not just a little shorter. The pics I showed her look absolutely nothing like what she did to me. He then said well what do you want me to do? I can't put the hair back on. Well obviously. A 5th grader could look at the pics I showed and look at what I got and know what I got looks nothing the same. The sad thing is it can't be fixed. I have a condition that I am losing my hair. It won't grow back. Please don't get your hair cut at Ravenscroft!

I was first asked to choose between two scents as aromatherapy for the curtained section of the dark room. Then to change down to the waist with a Velcro towel. Then got under the bed covers. A little massage of the head. Wrapped the hair. Prepped the face for eval. Washed my feet. Instructor is retrieved to consult on next steps. Oh, my face was hydrated! Lots more occurred including unexpected massages of the feet and arms while masking and steaming face, etc. My face was soft and a little glowy. Wonderful experience! I would recommend. I was able to use my 20 percent birthday discount on the $40 facial. However about 3 hrs later, my face became bumpy again and don't know why.

Attended because…read morethe course was so highly recommended, but Bob doesn't seem to enjoy teaching, and gets easily frustrated with having to help students understand the material. His license law material is several years outdated, but since he does not write his own questions, he says that's all there is. Bob refused to give credit for correct answers that he marked incorrect according to old answer keys. Many students were confused on what information is current and what will be on the state test, but when they asked questions, Bob either got confused about what they were asking or belittled them for not knowing. Maybe 30 years ago this was a great course, but anymore I would definitely recommend going elsewhere.
