It is decorated with relaxation in mind for the client and I always have a warm welcome from the massage therapist I am seeing. The sheets and blanket are so soft and fresh. The bed is already warmed up for me because they know that is how I like it. The therapist always takes time and is sincerely interested in doing their best to address all my needs. We are all sore, in pain, and dissatisfied. We called and informed the owner (Laurén) about what had happened and were given only a $150 refund (which is $30 each when we paid $120 each) The owner was very nice but Marie (the booking manager) made us feel like it was our fault we didn't speak up and said that those styles and techniques are normal and to be expected for a relaxing massage. We honestly thought we got pranked until reality set in. We are not the type to normally complain but I booked this as a relaxing weekend for my bridal party and we are leaving worse off than when we came, most of us are going to get real massages back home because we are so sore and have cricks in our necks. The beginning of my massage I wasn't sure how I was going to like this place. I expected $60 for a…read moremassage and for deep tissue (I guess they call it Thai massage) I was told that it would now be $70. They also asked if I wanted to purchase some coconut oil or some special oil and that would be $10 more. I was to pay ahead of time. Seems odd to pay for a service that I didn't get yet. I was escorted to a clean room with no instructions. There was a printed sign on the wall that people who acted inappropriate could be discharged at any moment. I like that. I laid face down and a woman worked on me named "Judy". She did not speak very good English. She did not ask if there were trouble spots that she should work on. But from that moment on, I was very satisfied. She worked very hard, was very thorough, using all of her strength to deliver an excellent massage. At one moment, she disappeared from the room and I wondered if I was done. Three minutes later she came back with hot stones and finished up my massage. When I left, I wanted to tip her. They let me use my former credit card slip to leave a tip on. I will certainly be coming back. She did an amazing job.
