I would not send my children to any other center. The owner is so involved and makes sure that every family is treated with respect. One of the best things about My Little School is the great staff and level of parent-teacher communication. My children have learned so much here. Especially for the price. My son just turned 3 today, and is finishing up in the "Twos" room at MLS. My wife and I first found this place when she was going back to work after our son had turned one. We immediately loved the location and the staff. I have experienced nothing but the height of politeness and friendliness from everyone who's worked there over the past two years. The building is bright and beautiful, and ALWAYS exceptionally clean, and has a great layout. Ms. Kim and her staff prepare in-house Breakfast and Lunch daily, and the kids get a really great variety of food. I am confident every morning that my son is safe and is being well-cared for. Even those mornings when he's throwing a screaming fit and doesn't want to get in or out of the car, when he gets to school, for him it's a safe calm space, and he settles down with relative quickness at the hands of any of the wonderful teachers. We understand that children bite. The issue is that they try to hide it and neglect to inform the mother. We have also found playground gravel in her feces for months now. We have communicated this to the teachers multiple times. This tells us that she is being neglected on the playground. Recently, she has also began crying, screaming, kicking, and clinging to her carseat when being dropped off at this daycare. She does not do this anywhere else and has never done this before. Alarmed, child protective services was called. When the director learned of this, she questioned my sister's parenting for continuing to enroll her. She also terminated my niec's enrollment. She is clearly projecting. I am highly disturbed. This is not the behavior of a person who should be responsible for other people's children. She wouldn't be so upset about child protective services being called if she had nothing to hide

We needed a child care option on short notice and chose this school because of a recommendation from a friend, the Spanish classes and the affordable tuition and ended up being so thrilled with our choice that we drove him 40 minutes each way for his final year of preschool after we moved to Illinois. Our last year at the school was with Mrs. Stacy and she is by far the best teacher we could have ever imagined. Each morning she personally greets each of the children like they really matter, takes an interest in their interests, engages them, keeps a stable routine and is patient. Entering kindergarten, my son knows all of the letters and sounds, recognizes numbers, can count to 1000, can write all of the letters, writes his name, can read about 500 sight words, can sound out many words that he doesn't know from sight, knows Spanish color words and number words and so much more! We were not members of the church, but that did not change the way they treated our son in their care. I can't say enough great things about TGCA preschool!

Perks of Goddard: - Every teacher has a college degree - Your child will be in or around six months of his age, like my daughter is in a 3 - 3 1/2 room and she is almost 3 1/2. This is a huge factor to consider, not only will your child be learning everything they should at this milestone, they will be with there peers in the same age group all day long, you don't get this at any other childcare facility much less public school system setting. This is where your child will grow and thrive because they aren't stuck in a group of kids that range from a few months old to 5. - Structure - i can't say enough about how structure makes a huge attitude adjustment and just a good flow for your kiddo. Having a daily schedule and it being the same is a great routine for anyone even if your 30 or 80! - Nutrition - they have a monthly planner you can get and it will let you know exactly what your kid is eating daily. - Activities - there is a weekly themed activity. I remember one in particular such as learning about fire and what not, and they actually had a firetruck come out for a day for the kiddos to see. - Therapies - If your child has any sort of therapies that need addressed, you can have your own therapist come in at anytime and provide therapy for your child, they usually have a space that they can go to to provide care. I swear during interviews, morning person, must be a requirment! Always friendly and always there to help in anyway possible!! The school is very clean and rooms are always in order. somehow even rooms occupied with kids and the kids playing there isn't a mess to be found! I need to figure out how they do it! the playground and area to play outside seems just like the perfect amount of space and equipment! nothing cluttered, and there is ample amount of room to get the kids stretch out there legs. I then selected DCC due to the intimate nature and therefore the health protections and small class size that DCC provides. We have little to no interruptions like many of my friends and the communication is amazing. But the most important thing to realize is that DCC is not a daycare it is a community! The teachers do not see their role as a job but love the children and want to see them develop. Parents give of their time because they believe in the DCC and the community it creates. And the children see DCC as a home away from home and thrive. I could not recommend DCC more!
