I first attended this school when it was located at the Kahakai Elementary School campus and transitioned to the IPCS campus. This school has a great way to get students involved with hands on learning and I cannot emphasize enough how much I loved this school! My favorite part of school was interest groups on Fridays, and the transition to mentorships in middle school on Fridays. I loved gardening with Ms. Krista and she taught me so much about the Hawaiian culture and the importance of the 'āina. I enjoyed doing school plays every year and my favorite play I participated in was Mulan Jr. I also loved my teacher Mrs. Bobb that taught me in fourth grade and all throughout middle school. She was a wonderful lady and always encouraged me to do my best. She took us on a surprise trip to O'ahu in fourth grade where we got to go to museums and even had the opportunity to ride in a limousine for the first time in my life! In middle school we went on a mystery trip to O'ahu to visit the USS Missouri and stayed on the ship for three days! There are countless times at Innovations that were once in a lifetime experiences and I am beyond blessed to have had the opportunity to attend such a great school. The teachers genuinely care about each student and encourage them to learn in many ways. I believe Innovations does a great job at incorporating both project-based learning and regular academic learning into their programs for students. The students I met at this school are still some of my best friends to this day and I will always cherish my friendships and memories from IPCS.

In Singapore, Hong Kong, Thailand, Philippines and China. It is a rewarding and enriching experience and the teaching you receive by speakers from all over the world is fantastic. The people you reach and friends you make are irreplaceable. Sounds to me that the people who attended and left negative reviews were simply not solid in or serious about their Christian faith. I couldnt even tell what the place was supposed to be, it says "university" but it looks more like an isolated living community. Definitely seems like a cult or something sinister is going on in this place. After leaving with a strange feeling, I did some research and found accounts of emotional and financial abuse among staff, and other cult-like behavior. This place needs to be investigated, definitely not a place where any god would be. Please do your own research before trusting places like these.

They suggested alternate lesson times for the kids sake, spent the whole 2 hour lesson with them in the water, utilizing flat time for some basics, and cheering the kids on and celebrating them. They provided water shoes and had rash guards available, as well as the appropriate sized surfboards. They even had jugs of water to wash them down after their lessons, and had apple bananas and lychee for them to snack on after. I've had a few trips where I hired surf coaches. And Austin is the best surf coach I've ever had…read more With Austin this is the first time I truly learned something insightful and memorable. Austin is very friendly, communicative and detail oriented. Before the lesson he made sure that he could prepare for equipments based on my body type and measurements. He likes to keep his class (if group class) very small so everyone gets to have more time to learn directly from him. What's more, Austin likes to keep his class fun and relaxing. He knows when he should be pushing the students hard to practice more, and when to rest a little with stories and jokes so keeps the students motivated. Also most importantly, Austin likes to bring depth to his class. He's very knowledgeable of sharing different ways of standing up, paddling. And he likes to share his insights on the pros and cons and when to use which. I found it extremely helpful. I found with this trip I can come home not only knowing how to stand up, but how to truly surf. In all, Austin is the best surf coach I've ever had and I strongly recommend you book lessons with him.
