Horrendous experience…read more Imagine planning over 3 months in advance, spending over 25k to install floors, over 2 months of the physical installation, and 6 months to complete the project (due to ordering/inventory issues). The worst part is that the squeaks were not repaired before the install. 5 extremely loud joists in the most used locations of the house. We ended up hiring another contractor to pull up the floor and fix the squeak in one room that cost over 3k. If you like frustration and spending far more money than you need, go ahead and order from them and use their subcontractors. Or you can use a company that seamlessly bids, orders material and does the work from start to finish until you are 100% happy with the product. Up to you. Note, we still use the subcontractor because they do really good work. Dont use FWF for product and project management. If I could a 0 star rating, I would.

We needed some granite work to our exsisting counters as we were putting in new sinks. My husband asked around to a kitchen counter business we used many years ago and came up with the name/number of Jason Taylor. We called Jason and he came out and checked our kitchen sinks out and said he could do it. Jason has many years of working with stone but he started his own business a couple of years ago. We had no issues and would definitely recommend him to others.

There has been lots of rain since he built overhang, redid door frame and installed a new door. No leaking and it looks very nice. He also repaired a portion of the fence that had failed and checked for leaks in roof. He left work area tidy. I am very appreciative of his work and his honesty. He goes above and beyond what is required. I highly recommend him.

Expanding hardwood floor throughout the main level of my house was one of my dreams for the past…read morecouple of years. I had a vision of the spaces I wanted to create. Marcos and Anthony were referred to me by my neighbor. When they came to estimate the work, I very quickly realized that they understood exactly what I had envisionned but were also able to make additional recommendations to address specific areas of the flooring that would need special attention. They also came up with some recommendations on the color to enhance the overall light and visual appeal of the interior and style that I was going for. Part of the work required fixing some of the existing hardwood that I already had, fixing squeaking areas of the old floor and resurfacing it. For the new flooring area, they removed the carpet and meticulously prepared the subfloor to ensure that the installation of the new hardwood would be flawless and free of squeaking area. I was working from home at the time of installation, which took about 10 days, and it was so nice for me to be able to see the progress. It also made me realize the amount of work that went into the project and, while I considered trying to do this project myself, I am so glad I didn't and chose to use Marcos and Anthony instead. What they do is true craftmanship that clearly require years of experience to be able to master. The end result of the project is one continuous perfectly matching floor througout my house that completely enhances the atmosphere/feeling of the house that I know I will love for the years to come. And as far as pricing and value, I don't think it can be matched and I will use them in a heartbeat if I have other projects in the future and will recommend them to anybody who is looking to have a real hardwood floor installed.

My hundred year old oak hardwood floors had been refinished by a company that made a number of…read moremistakes. The sanding was uneven and parts of the floors appeared not to be sealed. There had been very little finish product applied. I asked Marcos at Oregon Precision Flooring to fix them if he could. I was in a hurry, and he adjusted his schedule to accommodate my timeline. He offered to test (in one room) whether his product would work over the last company's product. He ended up fixing the other company's work on all the floors. He really took his time, answered questions, and made sure the floors looked beautiful before he was done. Marcos and Anthony are easy to work with and they are really good at what they do. They are also reasonably priced considering their high quality work and the good products that they use. I would definitely recommend them to anyone with high standards.

Fabulous Floors completely FAILED us…read more Very POOR workmanship. There are many gaps between the floors and doors/door frames. There are gaps between the base shoe and frames. The base shoe they used is far too wide to match the existing molding. The completed work looks as though a novice did the job. See the attached photos. When I confronted the owner, he replied, "there's nothing I could do about that. I specialize in flooring not door molding or frames. I can't help how that looks." Seriously? Much of this could have been prevented if they laid down a layer of plywood under the hardwood floors. I ended up having to spend waaay more money to hire another contractor to fix all the issues they caused. Furthermore, I specifically requested water based coating for our hardwood floors throughout our entire house to reduce exposure to VOCs. The owner agreed he would apply water based coating and even said he would go out and buy the water based coating the day we discussed the plans. His workers applied oil based coating. After I confronted him with this huge error, he argued that oil based coating is better anyway and that I didn't know what I was talking about. He would not initially acknowledged the mistake, and after repeatedly telling him he was at fault, he confessed that he forgot to tell his workers to apply water based coating instead of oil based coating. Very unprofessional.
