The teachers develop learning activities based on the children's ages, developmental stages, and individual needs. I honestly do very little formal early education with my son at home, but since attending this school, I have seen tremendous improvement in his STEAM and overall learning abilities. During our entire time at the school, I have never heard of my son being involved in any physical fights or serious conflicts with other children. The overall atmosphere among the children is positive, and the parents are also friendly and respectful toward one another. I will also never forget my son's first day. Like many young children, he experienced separation anxiety and had a very difficult time being away from me. His teacher held him, comforted him, and patiently stayed with him while he worked through his emotions. She gave him so much reassurance and care. It was very obvious that both of the directors really loved children and were passionate about what they do, as they should be. My son's preschool teachers were also super sweet and kind. The facility itself is very clean and very child friendly. They have safety measures put in place to ensure that the children are well cared for and protected. I always felt that my son was in good hands when he was there. The curriculum is advanced and really good to help children learn and progress in their Preschool skills. They do chapel every week, it was so adorable to see all the little children in their matching T-shirts walk together. We ended up taking our son out of the program because it wasn't a good fit for him. I don't believe that it was any fault of the teachers, just rather the class size being a little bit too big for him at the time. The ratio for the three-year-olds was 11 kids to one teacher, with his class size being comprised of 22 students and two teachers. Once we moved to a smaller class size, our son did so much better. For the price of tuition (only slightly less than the mortgage on our home), I do feel that the class size is a little bit big, there are many other programs out there that are a lot less expensive and class sizes are significantly smaller. The public school system is now offering free preschool education and transitional kindergarten to all eligible 3 and 4 year old children in Chino and Ontario. Overall, it's a great program and for many kids and parents, it will be a wonderful experience.
