As a plus size woman, I was delighted to find quite a few really great things in my size at one of the first times in the store. I'm sad to say that for almost every subsequent visit, that was not the case. I want to validate the other review that mentioned the surly woman behind the counter at the store. I came into the store dozens of times over 10 years, and she was always surly when she was there. In fact, I once asked her about plus size clothing, since I had had such a successful purchase in the past, and she argued with me about whether or not they ever carried larger size clothing before. In the last couple of years before we moved, I found myself curious to go in, but also not wanting to deal with her. Overall, a decent shop, though inconsistent. Four stars for merchandise quality and selection, and two stars for the surly woman who works there, for an overall review rating of three stars.

With a lack of options for affordable, cute clothes, Ivy & Oak has been an awesome addition to Lovettsville. I love that they change the clothes out weekly. It makes it more interesting to stop in because I know I'll find something new. One interesting note is that it's located in the same building as Bonnie's Country Kitchen. You drive into Bonnie's parking lot, and Ivy & Oak is around the back right side. You'll see the sign up. It's not very large inside, but they actually have a decent amount of clothes, shoes, and jewelry. I've been pretty happy with the availability of sizes, and I know it's restocked often. Also, there's a a small dressing room, so you're able to try things on before buying them. Overall, it's just been nice having something close by to grab something cute to wear that's different from the usual outfits everyone is buying from all the regular chain stores.

I remember this place when I was little and it was bustling with people. Certainly not as much as…read moreLeesburg, but it was pretty full in occupancy. Well its October 2025, and it was like a Ghost town and the food court was by far the saddest one. I think only two places were opened on a Saturday. Lots of stores are closed and the parking lot was completely free. Not much selection now in terms of things. They still have some clothing stores left, but not sparse in terms of styles. The food court is actually clean because of the low foot traffic and someone is constantly cleaning the place. They do have Tesla superchargers here so its a good place to charge and walk around. The chargers are in the corner of the lot and typically just walking to the bathroom and back and most of the charge should be done so not really much time left to wander. It was sad to see and kind of made me feel like life has moved on from my childhood.
