What attracted us to La Petite initially was the great classroom curriculums, healthy lunches, and the school Director's warm/approachable demeanor. After we enrolled our kids (and in addition to those things) we found that what makes La Petite so wonderful are the dedicated, compassionate teachers, the regular exciting and engaging activities for the kids, and the community of other parents. Our son had the privilege of being in Ms. Dana's Pre-K classroom. He was not only SO prepared academically for Kindergarten thanks to Ms. Dana, but the classroom really fostered his friendships, which gave him great social confidence before beginning Elementary School. Our daughter was enrolled in Upper Two's with Ms. Lily and now is in Preschool with Ms. Taja. Our daughter loves her teachers and looks forward to all the exciting activities they have planned every day. While the academic curriculum is great (she is learning a ton), what we appreciate the most is how much fun she has every day. Whether it's a dance party, classroom yoga, tending the garden outside, or a special guest coming to visit, there is always something fun for her to look forward to. The cherry on top is that our daughter has made some best friends in her classrooms who we hang out with regularly outside of school, too. I don't give out reviews often, but I genuinely feel that La Petite on Baines deserves 5-stars. I am so grateful for the teachers putting in their max effort to make the school such a wonderful, warm atmosphere for our kids. We trusted them even when we didn't look at the cameras. We never felt like he was unsafe or unhappy...They kept us up to date with our son's daily activities through their app and always gave us feedback on the day he had at pick up. The communication has been top tier and the love and patience they gave him will always stick with us. He graduated a few days ago and we're so sad this chapter is closed for so many reasons...one of the biggest is saying good bye to the greatest most loving staff at this location....from the teachers to the wonderful ladies up front to Mr. John in the kitchen. That curriculum is amazing." My son loves his teachers and was so happy to see them again after vacation. He often says "I will tell my teachers about this." He is eager to please them. The Quality: the teachers know what they are doing. The kids jump around in the morning and sit quietly during lunch. It doesn't feel chaotic but under control, safe and calm. There are free and paid specials - free music and gym are free. There are also paid dance classes (Little People's Creative Workshop) and Soccer (Soccer shots). My son loves all of these and it's certainly convenient for us. My son has started really looking at books on his own, recognizing letters, writing letters etc. We are very happy with his progress and his teachers. They have a big screen in his class which they use for yoga, music, lessons etc. Value: It's not cheap, for sure. But many people don't know that religious-sponsored schools do not have to adhere to safety/quality standards which is one of the reasons why they are cheaper. My son is safe, happy and healthy in school. They provide meals but you can opt out if you'd like. They provide generally healthy options for kids and my son likes to eat there. It's a great school.

We had to pull our kid out unfortunately, but for personal reasons nothing to do with the daycare. We're very sad because we loved Ms Felicia in the infant room. There's an app to communicate with the teachers and to watch the video feed if you want to which came in handy when I wanted to see when I could get him if he was sleeping or not. I'm sad that when we are able to go back to daycare we won't be able to do it since they won't accept part time kids anymore. I can't vouch for the other rooms just the infant room but honestly the whole staff is really nice and welcoming.

We had my infant daughter with primary beginnings for…read more3 months, throughout the time I don't think there were two weeks straight where they didn't request/require us to pick her up for signs of "illness", every time we would go to the doctor only to find out nothing was wrong. While I normally appreciate a cautious outlook on health, I can't quite shake the feeling that they knew that I was able to pick my daughter up so we were the first call when for whatever reason they needed children to go home early. I will say I enjoyed my daughter's teachers, they were always pleasant. Because of the teachers we were initially willing to overlook a few bumps in the road by making our position and what we expect clear. However, the business practices of the facility remained untenable. Even up to the point where we gave our notice, they cancelled the last week on us. If you plan on taking your child here, either have a really great PTO policy with your job, or keep another sitter on retainer. You will not be able to reliably take your child there and attend to your job.

When filing a formal complaint with the state AND speaking to the owner, both blew him off. When he asked the kids about it they told him the names of the other kids who have been abused by her. They told him she takes them into a separate room and apparently all you hear is her screaming and she grabs them and shakes them and pushes them around while screaming at them. This is completely unacceptable behavior and I really hope the people responsible are held accoubtable.

We have 2 little boys, 1 of whom has medical needs, and both of our boys loved Primrose as much as we do. The teachers, administration, and staff here are amazing! They've bent over backward to make sure the kids have the best experience possible, that all their needs are met, and that they are safe and well cared for. They are also so incredibly responsive! As the parent of a child with medical needs, I was especially impressed with the cleaning regimen and standards pre-covid not to mention all the additional safety measures and systems added since the pandemic started. The quality of the education is also great - both pre-school and pre-k curriculums and instruction. Both of my boys were well prepared for Kindergarten. In addition to the top quality of care, I always loved all the extras they threw in. They have special activities throughout the month, water-play outside in the summer, special holiday events in the winter, and even special covid-friendly parades and graduations! Plus festivals, competitions where the kids vote for each other's work, fan mail Friday (a chance for your kids to get "mail" in their classroom) and so much more! My youngest has been in Kindergarten since the Fall, and while it's been great, we truly miss Primrose - they're the best!
